I am a retired teacher and amateur genealogist . My interest in family history was piqued by my maternal grandmother who kept scrapbooks of newspaper clippings. Several years ago I learned my paternal grandmother had recorded a history in the 1940's of her grandfather's descendants. I guess collecting and maintaining family records is in my blood. I like to share what information I have, and internet websites now make it easy to do. Photography has also been a life-long hobby, so now I enjoy taking pictures to share along with data on findagrave.com . | |

 | RE: Ware graves Ann,
Please feel free to use the photos. I did look for the white memorial stone of John Ware's and could not locate it. Most of the service stone are in very poor shape. I did find that the base of the white stones are still there and the top of the stone snapped off and are no longer on the graves.

 | RE: cemetery photo Ann,
The snow and rain finally subsided and I was able to visit Denamrk Ccemetery on a beautiful sunny day. Edwin and Mary's headstone is one in the same. I did walk the entire cemetery and did not find any other Ware markers in the cemetery. I did visit Claypool Cemetery north of Ft Madison during my outing and found Clara V Ware and Oliver Faxon Ware. I took the time to take pictures and create memorials for both of them. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GRid=107886787&CRid=94483&

 | RE: Edwin Chapin Ware # 95228559 Ann, I haven't forgotten about the Ware headstones. We've had a significant amount of snowfall, that hinders the access to the cemetery. The cemetery association has the road to the cemetery chained off. I will get your pictures when the weather permits. Karen | | | Karen & John P

 | Brookmans Hi Ann, Your Harry is my Great Grandfather's brother. My Great Grandfather is William Nicolas Brookman (1862-1909) who married Lillian May Hoes. Some time back you sent me photos of some of the Hoes. I also have seen your photos at the Montgomery Historical Society's site. You had also put me in touch with Rick, who I've shared info with. I had originally set up the memorials for Harry and Clara. This is all probably "ringing a bell" now. It's been quite awhile since I've been in touch.
