Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi I'm Kat........I'm a wife, mom, grandma and crafter and I also like to research and work on my family tree. I love Genealogy! I love to travel with my husband. We have 2 Chihuahua's and 1 very fat cat.

I have set up a Virtual Cemetery online for the Carter Family. Starting from my dad and going up to m gg grandfather William Carter.
Click here to see my dads page.
I will add more family as time allows.

I don't get to spend as much time setting up my virtual cemetery as I would like, because I am so busy with so many things, mainly crafts and Genealogy research and reading.
I have a little hand-made Jewelry Website were I sell cute Crystal Jewelry and Crystal Suncatchers!
When I am not working on Genealogy and trying to find graves, I will sew a lot or cross-stitch, crochet or read. I rarely watch TV, but listen to the radio a lot. I love to garden as well, mainly flowers, I am a amateur photographer who loves to take photos of scenery, pets, flowers, and the sea, and seascapes, trees and country roads, Victorian Homes and more. I'm a simple girl who loves old fashioned things. I am down to earth and pretty real. I love the American History and believe in the constitution. I love free speech and feel blessed to be an American, born and bred in the USA. I prefer to travel by car, (SUV) so I can see the country and land God has blessed us with.
Another fun craft I love to do is make Digital Scrapbook art pages with my old family photos from my ancestor's photographs and other familiy members. It's a lot of fun and pretty relaxing too. I use a program called Photoshop Elements. You can make some beautiful art with your old photos. Check out this link to art that I have made with mine.

I just read about how people are unable to photograph graves in the Rosehill cemetery Chicago ILL. That's so disappointing to me also since this is my first request in the four years since I have joined find a grave. I sure hope someone can sneak in there and get the photo for me I live in CA, it's not like I can just drive there. I am a direct descendant. I called Rosehill and they seemed quite nice there, I will call them back and see what's up with such a policy as no photos.

After speaking to the Rosehill cemetery they did give me some information finally that I requested. But they have not given me all that I need. I sent a letter and have not heard back from them.

Hi, the information came from the cemetery records. I am preparing to take photos of my relatives this summer and saw how many requests there are and thought I would try to fulfill thoses. I was looking for the burial section for those ones that didn't have it. I have not been to the cemetery yet but will do my best to get all photo requests. I still have more to find the locations on including your Wolvertons. I will try to see what else I can find out for you.

Thank you
Hi...........Thank you for taking Minnie Tofft's marker photo. Did you by chance also take a picture of the entire stone so that her husband could be seen?

Thank you.

RE: Samuel
I'd really like to find out more about Mary Lamerson - do know when she died, and any information at all? I think her father may be Jacob - they lived in NY (close to the Canadian border). This is really all I know -- thanks for the quick reply.

Go to your contributor tools on the left side of your profile, and punch that in it will take you to where it will say customize, push edit on the scrapbook and you will see " add new item to my scrapbook" and then you will see "Choose from user loads" punch in that and you will see "Browse Images Added by Contributors" just punch on what you might want to put into your scrapbook and keep going back and forth to put them in

Rosehill Photographs
Rosehill management has been very resistant, siting privacy, to share information requests. Please read the letter I have forwarded to you re: Rosehill Cemetery. We have tried for more thatn 2 years to get location information, if they have headstones, etc. Rosehill states they need proof of your relationship, but have never been able to state what info they need, etc. Their corporate lawyers have agreed with the cemetery management. Please let us know IF you are able to get the information you request.
