I am the youngest daughter of Dallas and Mildred McGee. I have always been interested in my ancestry, and my parents have taken me to several cemeteries where family members are buried. I truly appreciate all the efforts that have been made by Find A Grave contributors!|
Swindling Gap Cemetery (Southwest) is our personal family cemetery. This is where my brother, Doug McGee, and my sister, Fay McGee Hacker, are buried. This website has become very sentimental to me!!

Thank you Janice for taking your time to bring this information to me. My McQueen family settled in Baltimore MD then on to Orange Co VA and finally to Jackson Co via Inverness,Inverness-shire Scotland. Dugall(McQuin) is my ancestor. I would be very interested in any other information you or anyone else might have on this man or any other McQueen. I have the (McQuins) McQueens traced back to UNK McQuin m. Elizabeth McAlay b. 1610 Inverness, Inverness-shire Scotland. d. 1 Aug 1700 Midlothia Scotland. Their son, Donald b 1625 @ Petty Inverness -shire d. 1710 Scotland m. Maragaret Winslow b 1625 and m. 1651 Scotland. Their son Duncan b. 23 Mar 1653 @ Petty Inverness-shire Scotland. d. 18 Mar 1711 Scotland. Father of Dugall b. 1690 Mor, Corrybrough, On the Finhorn River, Inverness Scotland. There is a great deal of information on
Dugall and his wives if one is willing to take the time to read through many books to get the story accurate. The entire McQueen story is fascinating and awe inspiring. I would be pleased to share the information I have gathered on the family.
