I'm researching many surnames, including, but not limited to: Felkey, Siniff, Myers, Frazell, Axe, Beale, Coil, Dieringer, Bishop, Rettig, Orwick, Heldman, Curtis, Wilch and Arras. Would love to hear from anyone else researching these names and am willing to share any information that I have.|

Hi Amy! Thanks so much for your quick reply. :)
Oh, I see. I guess it's all lost to history, although they do seem like nice folks from their picture.
I have a copy of James's obituary; I got it from a cousin of mine, Sharon Jazwiecki. I think she's met you personally, and she pointed me in your general direction for more Felkey info.
I was wondering about Mary Ann's stone...I assumed it hadn't been photographed yet. I'm actually surprised by how many of my ancestors don't have actual gravestones.
I did get a Civil War tintype from Sharon that is generally believed to be James, though it can't be proven and I don't know if we'll ever know for sure. I put it on his findagrave page.
Hmm, okay. I was just curious. I know "John Stevenson" is a really common name and might be difficult to trace.
And thanks so much! My email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
I'm quite a few generations away from James and Mary Ann...they are my great great great great grandparents. Their granddaughter, Clara, was my Grandad's grandmother and the last person in the family line to have the Felkey name. (Clara was James Madison Felkey Jr.'s daughter). She married a Fisher and I still have the Fisher name. Most people in my tree married young, leaving a lot of generations in between.
That's so cool, that you live close to your roots. Clara (my gg grandma) moved to MI when she married and the first one to move out of there was my granddad; now I live in PA...far away from all of my roots. *sigh*
Thanks so much for everything!

I'm a descendant of James and Mary Ann (Stevenson) Felkey; they are my fourth great grandparents.
I was wondering if you could give me any insight on their personalities? I knkw some facts about them but I don't know if any relatives who were ever close to them or heard their children talk about them; I thought you would be the one to ask.
Also, I was wondering if you were able to trace the Stevenson line further than Mary Ann's parents.
Thanks so much for all of your help!

Please let me know if you object to this or to let me know how you would prefer the photo credit worded. If I do not hear from you , I will assume it is okay to use it. Thanks so much.

I wish to thank you for taking time out of your day to travel to the Salem Mennonite Cemetery to get this photo. Receiving an email saying that a photo request has been fulfilled is like Christmas day for me.
You made my day!

Many thanks Amy!
I live in Massachusetts so having this, and so quickly, is wonderful!
Cloyd is my great grandfather.
