|Tawnya Michie||Thomas Robert Michie|
A great-grandson of Margaret Guthrie and James Hunt Michie, who are buried at St. James at Sag Bridge Cemetery, is buried on the same street of Archer Road at the Resurrection Cemetery in the St. Francis of Assisi Section in lot 12, block 3, grave 5, and section 42. The great-grandson, Thomas Robert "Tom" Michie died in 1965.

The St. James at Sag Bridge Catholic Church is located at 106th and Archer Road, Lemont, Illinois 60439, phone 708-257-7000. According to its brochure, St. James at Sag Bridge parish was founded in 1833 as a "mission." The church was built in 1853 on the grounds of St. James Cemetery, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The stone church building is one of the oldest church structures in Illinois with the stone coming from the Lemont-Sag quarries. The church structures include the church, rectory (built in 1882), and Saginaw Hall (built in 1912, remodeled in 1970). The main gates were installed in 1970 at the entryway, although they were made in 1912. The Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 West 111th Street, Worth, Illinois 60482 with phone 708-422-3020, is associated with the St. James at Sag Bridge Catholic Church and Cemetery.
The chapel has stained glass windows related to the Bremner, Michie, Guthrie, Fox, and Cossitt families.

Denise and others, I have the Jungles gravesite photos from Ravenna, Nebraska and a snowy photo of David F. Bremner's gravesite at St. James at Sag Bridge Cemetery. Contact me at tmkpk at earthlink dot net.
|Georgia Shirley||RE: Hi Denise...|
St. James at Sag Bridge is a very old cemetery on the outskirts of Willow Springs/Lemont, IL, suburbs of Chicago. Excuse my ignorance, but you do have photos of both Robert and David already. It was lucky that both graves were found since they both have been gone a long time ago. There isn't anything more I can do since you already have the photos. Please go ahead and delete Robert Bremner. If you need anyone else, I would be happy to go there for you.
|Georgia Shirley||Hi Denise...|
Catholic Cemetaries in Chicago does not have a record for David F. Bremner...he is not at Saint James or any other catholic cemetary in the Chicago area...
