I am a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Jamestowne Society, Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, the National Huguenot Society, and the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century. I just love researching family histories. I taught Jr. High English in the public schools for fourteen years. I was an Elementary Counselor and a librarian for fifteen years.
I would love your contributions to the pages I've added. I especially want pictures of the people I have listed here. I am taking pictures of all the tombstones in my area in order to preserve family histories for future generations, especially those who wish to join DAR and other societies. I want to honor these people and truly wish for them to be "Gone but Not Forgotten." I want to create a page for each person with pictures and biographical information. My DAR webpage is at www.mssdar.org/noahcole. | |

 | Memorial #91975964 Hi Linda. I was contacted by a woman named Patricia who asked where this person, Sarah Ann Vestal Howell, is buried. The cemetery is Oak Valley Cemetery, Oak Valley in Elk County, KS. Her husband is buried there as well – Henry Wilborne Howell, Memorial# 40377301. Would you mind adding this information to her memorial? Thank you! | | | | [View all messages...] |
