Hi I am Carilyn Rosekrans Engledow granddaughter of Elsie Sallee Kautz (sister of Minnie). Are you Howard's daughter? I have a lot of pictures that I found of Elsie's that I believe are from the Kautz side but I do not know who they are. I would be willing to make copies to send to you if you would like them along with others of the Kautz's that I have.

Hi Debbie,
I spoke to my grandfather yesterday, he is the son of Frieda and Adolph Fiene. He told me that the actual spelling of his mothers maiden name is VHOS. I didn't know, so I will now share this with you. He also wanted me to to tell you how thankful he is to you and the work you have done for the Fiene family. He is very appreciative and it gives him something good to think about. Also this summer we have plans to record family history and the rest, so I will let you know what I learn.

How have you been? George Fiene is buried with his wife Francis M. (DeRungs) at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery, in Finlayson, Pine County, Minnesota. They have pictures posted too.

I have an e-mail out to find out Frances' maiden name.
Did you know that Friedas maiden name is Voss, and she came to the US from the Island of Fehmam, Germany. Her brother was her sponsor.

Debbie, Is there any way that you can add George A Fiene to Frieda and Adolphs page? He is buried at Saint Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Pine County, MN. His wife Frances is also buried there.

Wow, this is great. Were some of the other brothers, August, Richard and Louis? My grandfathers name is Earl. I would love to have a copy of the photos. I too am a lover of old family pictures. I know that you really treasure them if you are like me. I wonder if you have any other pictures of my grandpa and his brother George, that would be great.

Hello Debbie, I am the Great-grandaughter of Adolph and Frieda Fiene. Where did you get their wedding photos? I can't wait to show my grandfather Earl, who is now 95. Thank you for adding them. I have never seen them and you just made my day.
