My name is Mary (Asplin) Lambert from Edmond, Oklahoma. I am the daughter of Ray and Fern (Park) Asplin. Ancestors include the Asplin, Mead(e), Doty, Hulsey, Lewis, King, Park, Hairston, Parker, Banta, DeMott, DeMarest,Terhune, and Joslin families. |
The Joslin (Joccelyn,Jocelyn, Joscelin, Josceline,Joscelyn, Joshlin, Joslyn, Josselyn,
Josselyne) family relates to me as well as my husband. Thomas Joslin, who came to America in 1635, had a son named Abraham who is my direct ancestor. Thomas Joslin also had a son named Nathaniel who is my husband's direct ancestor.
I have been able to trace my ancestry back to Edward Doty who arrived with the Pilgrims on the Mayflower. This has been supported by DNA through a male (Doty) second cousin once removed.
I would be pleased to transfer memorials to you since most of the memorials that I post are not that of my relatives. I would be happy to make corrections, add family links, and include any additional information to the memorials that you provide. If I need to make additions and corrections on the memorials that I have posted, please use the Edit button on the upper right area of each memorial to contact me. Feel free to use any of my photographs that I place on FAG.
When I visit graves online, I like to leave a flower so that friends and family of the deceased will know that their loved one was acknowledged that day. You are welcome to transfer any of my "flowers" to your own scrapbook.
"In all of us there is a hunger, marrow-deep, to know our heritage - to know who we are and where we have come from. Without this enriching knowledge there is a hollow yearning. No matter what our attainments in life there is still a vacuum. An emptiness, and the most disquieting loneliness."

If you have any Joslin family in the Council Bluffs, IA. area, you may be interested in some Joslin memorials I created today. George F. and Emma Kate are the two older graves. George is #149641690. I do not know any of them.

Hi Mary, just wondering if we need to take the "Sivlis" off of her name? it will make it hard when someone is searching. I did write in the bio that her other married name was Sivlis. ??? your choice, I am not sure really what to do. are you related? I can transfer if you wish ?

|Frances Blecha||Spouse of Sophia Rabstejnek|
Could you please check and see if there is a spouse for Sophia Rabstejnek buried at the Czech National Cemetery, Oklahoma City? Hers is the only memorial for Rabstejnek, but she was married (I don't have the name of her husband.) Thanks in advance!
