Welcome to my Bio!I found Find A Grave while researching my Family Tree which I have been doing for quite some time now, since 1999 and have met a lot of great helpful people including Stephanie Hensley, Linda Cormeny, Jackie Harlan, and Rosa Cline. Thank you all so very much you have been a great help to me. I am soon to be 30 years old and currently a stay at home mother of a wonderful son, who is 16 months old and I attend a university! If someone lives out of town and needs a picture of a headstone from a cemetery in Arvin or Bakersfield (sorry no out of town cemeteries) please e-mail me and I will be glad to try and get that for you and put it on the website. Sincerely, Roxanna "Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going."-- Jim Ryun

I am trying to find out the name of my father's father. Charles Alfred Schubert was the son (STEP SON) OF Patrick and Lillian Costello. He was born on January 8, 1920 Grandpa Patrick costello married Lillian in 1921, but she had two children prior to the marriage. I think Mildred and my father Charles. The records were sealed by 2 different people and I have been trying to figure out why? I know his father was in the U S Army, but don't know if he was killed in action in 1919 or just ran away? Do you have any hints? I just returned from Salt Lake City and the people at and Family tree tried to help me, but had no success. Chuck Schubert

Thank you for your fast response. You may email me at any time. My Dad was Charles Alfred Schubert. I have been trying to find out anything about his real father. Everyone knew him as Charles Costello, but he had a different father. I think grandma Costello didn't marry the man who gave her a child, but it was never discussed when I was little, and Daddy Chuck never brought it up. If you know anything, please let me know. I guess I will try Ancestor. com and see if they have anything. Chuck Schubert

I have an earlier picture somewhere. I will have to clean house and find it. It is a black and white from about 1953-4. Grandpa Pat was still alive. She was a tall woman and a loving person! I am not sure the house she lived in is even around. I will be traveling to Minnesota for a visit to where I was born in Moose Lake, Mn.

The newspaper article on the above mentioned lists next of kin. There was an error. The step son should be Charles A.l Schubert or San diego. Can this be fixed? See below:

Survivors are his widow and six children; twin girls, Mrs. Catherine Carlson, Moose Lake and Mrs. Margaret Nooner, Shumaker, Ark.; Mrs. Susanna Hemminz Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Dorothy Keyport, Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas; two sons, Patrick Jr and John both of San Diego, Calif.; one stepson, Charles Stewart (**should be Charles A. Schubert)

Thank you for your help Charles L. Schubert, son
