Bio and Links
Bio Photo Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.
~Henry David Thoreau
I was drawn to FAG after loosing a dear friend in a tragic car accident, as well as my only sister suffering a brain injury in a car accident on her way to school--she was a passenger, along with another beloved friend who passed away in the accident. That day changed so many lives forever!
I grew up in a small fishing community in N.C., moved away at 17 and served in the USAF Desert Storm. I've always enjoyed walking through cemeteries...wondering what each person might have been like in their lifetime. You'll find my "Pappy", beloved father-in-law and mother-in-law and our respective families among the many memorials I've added to FAG; thanks to each of you who take the time remember them! Also, thank you for stopping to leave flowers for our dear family and friends we've lost, to include our beloved family friend, Christopher Johnson, who lost his battle with leukemia and the many dear young friends whose earthly bodies rest near him. If you have a question about a memorial I have added, or would like a transfer, please email me. I will do all I can to help. I do my best to honor and lovingly remember those who I memorialize. Always happy to transfer family and friends. :)

Errors on Lowe Cemetery, Pike County, Kentucky, (Big Branch)
I have done an extensive history of the Lowe Cemetery on Big Branch. When I used Find A Grave to see which names are listed, I found that of the seven graves listed, only one of them is actually on that cemetery. The map shows that it is our family cemetery, but I do not recognize any of the other names. Perhaps these are on other Pike County cemeteries. Is there a way we can check?

David Blankenship
William F Blankenship
My name is David Blankenship. I am the great grandson of William F Blankenship (through Andy Sr., Andy Jr.). I am interested in locaating his grave. The only information I have is passed verbally from my father (now deceased who said he was buried in a cemetary somewhere behind the residence of William's son Jesse Lee Blankenship and Jesse's wife Dixie Cain located on the north side of US 40 as you come into Warfield headed weat. Any information on this cemetary would be appreciated. Also According to type written information left by Andy Sr. William's father was Presley I Blankenship (the scrip I and Script J from hand written records are often confused) and his mother was Rebecca Blankenship, daughter of Hezekiah Blankenship & Elizabeth Stacy . Some references to Rebecca give her her mother's maiden name listing her as rebecca stacy.

I was wondering if you have headstone photos of the 2 above mentioned relatives. I live in Shreveport but it is still an hours drive up there. If you don't have photos, I do understand. How do I get a map of where these 2 people are buried in the Line Creek Baptist Cemetery? Thank you! Penny

Don Moffitt
Robert Mark Moffitt
Uncle Bob was one of my Dad's older brothers. He left Butler at the start of WWII and apparently never returned. I did not know him and had never met him. I can't tell you how excited I am to discover your material about him. This is the first picture I have seen of him. He had some of the same facial features of Grandpa Lester. Thanks for contributing to a greater knowledge of my family. - Donald D Moffitt, Jr.
