Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on my own genealogy since about 1975. I love strolling the peaceful cemeteries for familiar names. For many years I've volunteered in the LDS Family History Centers and enjoy helping others. If you ever contact me and I don't answer please contact me again. I will always get back with you eventually!

Not a problem. I am in the process of photographing and transcribing all of the legible gravemarkers in Harlingen City Cemetery. If Lucy or her child are in there, I'll find them (b/c it is possible that my wife and I moved too fast and missed their graves).

It isn't about whose has the most information. Mine was first and theirs is the duplicate. They should have added their information to mine. Since it isn't family though I have no problem deleting mine.

I noticed that you had Aunt Edith written by your flowers. Who were her parents?

John E. McLauchlen, Jr., Find A Grave Memorial# 56773493
Hello, Anita.

I am curious to know how you were able to identify Lt. McLauchlen from the crew photo that was used in his memorial? An amateur historian, I am assembling a data base of men who served with the 7th Bomb Group during WW2. An acquaintance of mine had been trying for months to identify the member of the bomber crew, on which Lt. McLauchlen once served. He was able to get a solid I.D. only after several attempts to contact family.

Do you have any other info that might help me to identify some of the remaining men on the crew?

Thank you.

RE: Lillie Groshong stone in poor condition
My husband was not a direct descendant of this family but I have collected as much info on the Groshong family and would appreciate any dates about these children and their family. Thank you for taking care of the stone. Cindy
