I want to thank everyone who has stopped by to say hi and leave flowers on many of my memorials, particularly my family and friends, that means so much to read all the nice notes you leave and then to be able to go visit your loved ones and read their stories. |
I am the mother of twin boys. They love going around to cemeteries with me to read the markers, and snap pictures, and on a good day, they find a fat lizard, or two.
If any info I provide here is incorrect, or you can provide more info for me to add to a memorial page, I will be more than happy to do so.

Catharine Paine lived in Seneca Falls and attended the 1848 Seneca Falls meeting that was orgainised by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and sparked the Womens suffrage in America. She was the youngest signer of the Declaration of Sentiments, a document that came out of that meeting. Despite her young age at this meeting and having lived many years, she did not live long enough to see women get the right to vote.
She was honored in 1998 during the opening of the of the Women's Rights National Park. In attendance to honor her was First Lady Hilary Rodham Clinton.
It would be great to edit her memorial to include her Seneca Falls connection. I have materials that could be added to her memorial that are reflective of the Seneca Falls meeting.

I don't have any additional info, I just wanted her memorial to be managed by someone from the family. Thanks for taking care of her :o)

Hi Kelly, since Find A Grave has made changes to the edits, I am wondering if you have gotten my message about linking Christa to her parents? They now have these on our home bio page under the new edit tab and it is very confusing on occasion.
Thank you Kelly,

I'm wondering if you could transfer a grave to me. It is my maternal grandmother that I was very close to and I'd like to link her to some other family, including her son and husband.

Just wanted to say good morning! It is a pleasure to come across someone who is still having fun doing this and not taking it all so seriously. Keep up the good work!

I think the John Hutton (1798-1859) memorial you have on F.A.G. is the same John Hutton buried in Bush Cemetery, Winona Co., Minnesota, also on F.A.G. You have burial location unknown, so I thought you might like to know where he's buried. Thanks.
