I am currently researching the Ellis and Reeder lines in my family. I am particularly interested in finding my Great-Great-Grandfather, David C. Reeder (b 1849). At present, I cannot find his date of death, where he died or his burial place. If you know anything about him, please leave me a message. |
I regret that I have had to remove my email address from my profile, as it seems to attract memorial corrections from people who either are not members of Find A Grave, are looking for free genealogical help, or people who just want to argue for some reason.
Also - please do not use the Find A Grave "Suggest a Correction" as a way of reaching my e-mail, unless of course, you are suggesting a correction. I'm sorry to be so mean, but I am not a professional genealogist and it's really disrespectful to send me a correction as a way of asking a question.
Please leave a message in here for me and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. I try to check in at least once a week
If I have added a memorial for your loved one, and you would like it transferred to you, kindly leave the memorial number of your loved one plus their name as it appears on Find A Grave; as well as your member number and your relationship to the person you would like transferred.

Thanks for the information, we've updated it to his page.
If you think he qualifies for "Famous" status, and have some additional details to expand upon it, feel free to write a new bio and submit it to be considered via the "Famous@" email address.
Make sure to follow the Famous Bio Guidelines found here: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=bios

Could you clarify what you mean by "use of this memorial information?" Would this include adding names and vital facts to an ancestry.com tree? If you could reply, I'll tell you the particular individuals I had in mind.

Roswell Parker is my husband's fourth GGrandfather. Could I please use the information in our tree for him? Kathy Brown firstname.lastname@example.org
Did you find out where Mickey Rooney's
mother, Nell is buried?

I added the information you sent to his memorial.
I have had ABSOLUTELY no luck getting them to mark a memorial as famous this long after it was created, so I have given up even trying. In addition to that problem, even if they would take it as famous (which I'm pretty sure they won't at this late a date), a bio has to be written up in the exact format they specify, which is time-consuming and a pain.

Hello Trisha W.
I see you left virtual flowers on
Thomas bader 15939210
His wife Mary S Bader 15931990
And their son Melvin Bader 15939198
Are you related to the family?
I am asking because I would like to know if Mary S bader's
Maiden name was boots. And who were Mary's parents?
|Scott G||Nell Pankey|
If you do find her at Westwood or otherwise, please let me know, and I'll update the memorial!

Hi Trisha, I would love to link Nell Pankey to her son, Mickey, but Find-a-grave rules do not allow linking of celebrities to relatives with unknown burial locations. I have entered Nell's memorial, but have not yet located her resting place.

Thanks. There is always a difficult one in the history somewhere.
