Dave Kibbey
Hi--I am working on the Polk County, Oregon death certificates and came across one for a Dave Kibbey born 1849 and died in 1933. His parents were David and Eliza. He is buried at King's Valley, but I can't find a memorial for him. Do you want me to add one and then transfer it to you, or do you want to add it and I will add the DC for you to look at. I am not related. Thanks, Diana

Matthew Norman Case
In a previous post with a picture of Philo Case and his drum I noticed that you listed yourself as the 2nd great granddaughter. However, I am not able to figure out who you are. Moreover, I am the 2ng great grandson of Philo. You are welcome to email me for more information.

In honor of Philo Case, on this 150th Anniversary of the Civil War. From your 2nd great granddaughter, with love and respect.

RE: Will James' Findagrave Memorial # 65052380
We too are Will James fans and have several of his books. We are going to be in Sheridan, WY this summer and hope to visit the museum in Hardin, MT where they supposedly have a display and the cabin from his ranch. It wasn't necessary to give me credit for the info but thank you. Glad to be of some help. ~Carol

Re your profile photo
I forgot to tell you that I love your profile photo! Reminds me of the old Spilliken Corners at Magic Mountain in California back when I was a kid. Only your photo is so much better looking and authentic!

RE: Moses Pettingell
I would love for you to transfer them to me. I didn't realize that I created duplicate Memorials. I'm so sorry! I thought I checked all possible spelling variations for Pettingell.

Thank you for locating them. It is very much appreciated.

Letitia Bird McKay at Harrison Cemetery
You claim on my aunt Letitia's memorial that she came to Oregon in 1841 and possibly earlier. Can you please delete those remarks? She came in the 1841 Sinclair party from the Red River to Ft Vancouver on a promise that the HBC had made to give them land, livestock, etc, etc. The HBC did not keep their promise. She spent the winter at Nisqually. The company failed further on their promise. Crops failed, etc, etc. She then came to the Tuality Plains were her husband founded Glencoe. This is a well documented journey. They did not come on the Oregon Trail. Most of my family knows the story, I own the original pictures which I have posted. The Sinclair party was British. It had nothing to do with The US promising a DLC to entice settlers. A whole different story.
