I am not related to everyone I have created a memorial for on FindaGrave. I am local resident who enjoys genealogy and cemetery hopping (weird, I know :) I do have access to the Wymore Cemetery, Mahaska County, Iowa, USA records and am willing to do look-ups when I can. I will be more than happy to transfer one of my non-family memorials to anyone who asks.

RE: Harris/Indianapolis Cemetery
Hi Kate, I will see what I have on Freeman Harris and Bridges.
BTW my husband's mother's grandmother was a Hite. Sarah Elizabeth Hite Smith. She's buried in Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa.
I have been in contact with Gene Hite.

I do not have burial info for Linnie's parents. Her mother probably died in 1878 when Linnie was born. In the 1880 federal census, her father was a hired hand, listed as widowed. Linnie was living with her paternal grandparents. By 1900, her father had remarried, and she too was married.
Both of her parents were in Mahaska, Iowa. Her father died in 1940.I assume they were both buried in Mahaska, but I was unable to find records for them.

RE: Wymore Cemetery
Thank you so much for letting me manage the Whitaker memorials and Whitaker relatives at the Wymore Cemetery. The research on these relatives has filled in many blank spots on my family tree. It always amazes me how researching someone new will lead to answers to another family member.

RE: Masters/Wymore Cemetery
Hi Kate,
If there are only three Masters at Wymore, I feel quite sure that they are,

Robert Elmer Masters, b. 4 Jan. 1818 in Guernsey Co., Ohio and d. 18 Oct. 1911 at Rose Hill, Mahaska Co., Iowa.

Mary E. (Smith) Masters, b. 1 April 1828 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., Ohio and d. 29 Mar. 1899 at Rose Hill. Wife of Robert Elmer.

And, Howard Andrew Masters, b. 13 Jan 1899 in Eddyville, Mahaska Co., Iowa and d. 2 April 1899 also in Eddyville.. He was the Grandson of Robert and Mary.. The son of Albert Ross Masters Sr. Albert Ross, was the son of Robert Elmer and Mary...

As for the removal of the Albert memorial, I'll leave that up to you.. Perhaps an opinion from Patty is called for too.. If it were me, I'd remove it knowing that there are only three graves in the plot. And, since Robert Elmer's most likely care provider, would have been his son Albert Ross, the records keeper confused the names.. It is known to happen..

Again,I thank you for your time and efforts.

Harold

RE: Jennings/Friday
If you want to send me a copy of that photo to manateeheather@gmail.com I might be able to tell if it is Sarah's mom. I have a photo of her. I don't think I have any photos of Sarah. I don't have one of my own 3 greats grandma, Mary Angeline either but do have a photo of my two greats Grandma and several of her siblings. I'll try to round up some stuff to send you. If you want to start by looking at my line on find a grave start here with Mary Angeline who was your Sarah's sister.

I'm working with another lady on both Hollenback and Jennings history and we are trying really hard to figure out where Rosewell Jennings and his wife are buried. You don't happen to know do you?

Will email more to you soon

RE: Jennings/Friday
Yes this family will make your head spin. :) I work on this line the least of all my lines just because of that fact. :) I don't have too much info unless you are interested in Sarah's sister Mary Angeline Jennings Hollenback. That is my line. I am just starting to look into some of Sarah and Mary Angeline's siblings. Oh I have quite a bit of info on Nancy Jane Jennings Hollenback too. She was also Sarah and Mary's sister. Mary and Nancy were married to brothers (George and John Hollenback). I just recently found the sisters Delilah Josephine Jennings Busby and Rosetta C. Jennings Busby. I also have some info on the Jennings' sisters' brother William Henry Jennings. One of his sons married back into my Hollenback family. Yes it is quite a tangle! If I can swap info with you send me an email and let me know what you need.
