RE: Erva
Sharon,

I'd be more than happy to look up their stone but unfortunately I don't live in that area. My advice would be to browse that cemetery and look for other photographers that would be more likely to live in the area. Perhaps one of them would be willing to go and take a photo and/or get the information that you need. I can't understand why the son is being so stubborn. :(

Good luck!

Erva Acres
Sharon,

I see no reason why you couldn't call the cemetery office and see if they have a burial record for her. They shouldn't need to keep that information private. You may be absolutely correct about her being in a nursing home, and you may want to check with some of them if the cemetery has no records. It's too bad that her son is being so uncooperative with you. What a pity. Please let me know if you are able to locate her, one way or the other.

Ooops!
Sharon,

That should have been "sister-in-law" and not daughter. The memory's going! Sorry!

RE: erva acres
Sharon,

I'm a bit confused. Let me start with saying that I transcribed Pine Hill Cemetery from information that I found online at this website: http://www.tngenweb.org/scott/cemeteryrecs.htm#pcemeteries

When I checked the Social Security Death Index to try to obtain a death date for her, I found nothing under "Acres" with a birthdate of May 15, 1924. (I will add that to her memorial). Is there a chance that she is still living somewhere? She wouldn't be THAT old....

Also, if you would like me to transfer ownership of her memorial to you or your daughter, please let me know and I will be happy to do so. I have no connection to Erva.

Blessings,
Jan

Hello
I am so grateful for the time you took to honor my daughter, Kara, and my niece, Rona, on their Angel Day. They left us so young and they both had a small child. Rona will be a Grandma in August and Kara's son is now 16. Thank you. I hope you are blessed with your heart's desire.
