The Fev Finley Patterson Carlton's family

Bill, I am a Daughter of the American Revolution. I could never lead any one on to false hope. Bible Records will stand in court & at national when papers are sent in. Everyone needs truth. I too have Carlton lineage.

Mary Tamer Miller Cook
Married John Daniel Cook.
Tamer was sitting to the right of her Mother Camilla Greene Miller, daughter of Solomon Greene~~~~~~~~Everyone in the area called her Aunt Tamer. It was her daughter Clemmie Cordelia Cook Greene who wrote The Distractors 1940 Flood Book. She is buried at Highland View Baptist Church. My friends have a lovely print of the John Daniel Cook house over their fireplace.~~~~About William Miller, Lovely Miller Danner first got her line through to William Miller. She established him for Daughters of the American Revolution. He was established as doing patriotic service & he applied for land grants. Making him a man who helped settle Wilkes County, NC. The next lady to go through to William Miller used Margaret Miller who married Darby Triplett. They worked for many years to obtain the sources needed to turn into Washington DC.~~~~I will very soon get the naming order redone of J. C. Greene's old picture
The picture Greene-Shemwell put on FindAGrave of Tamer & the house is in The Disastrous Flood 1940 Book. They lived in the Stony Fork NC area. I have an (original) copy of the Disastrous Flood 1940. To much timber was cut. When the flood came there was nothing to hold the water back. {I believe the timber was cut to make the Blue Ridge Parkway.} Merry Christmas.

Yes that is my relative. Her maiden name is Martha Chambers. She married Alonzo Brown.

I am also looking for her mather Ellen Arrington, I don't know if she is located in the same cemetery, but if you have any pictures, information on any of them, Martha, Alonzo, or Ellen; please send it to me

Thank you so much for responding. I am sorry I took so long to view my replies, usually I get nothing, but now you gave me hope

I have my fingers crossed. Whoopie

RE: G. T. Sargent, Jr.
You are very welcome. I am not related to Col. Sargent, but I am the daughter of a Marine killed in action in Korea. For me this is a small way to honor them and say thank you.

Union Cross Friends Cemetery
I claimed a photo request for this cemetery.
In Yadkinville. Your directions are good, but I would rather have had the actual address for my GPS.

Please consider adding if you set up this intro page:
2533 Union Cross Church Road
Yadkinvilke, NC

Thanks!

I am researching the 14th Alabama. I am interested in any information about Felix T. Hudson you are willing to share with me. In am especially interested in the references that told you that Hudson was an orderly for Colonels Judge and Baine. Thank you.
