Greetings from Rutland County, Vermont!
Please read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and the following:
INFO/CORRECTIONS Please use the edit tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial in question.
If at all possible, please provide a source (an unsourced family tree on the internet - not a good source). I do try and verify, as unfortunately I do get sent a lot of incorrect info.
I will not link to a memorial without final disposition information. PERIOD. Please do not ask. See here and here. If you did not know the final disposition, you should not have made a memorial.
I will not add post-1922 obits.
TRANSFERS Within guidelines, yes! Always! Please state your exact relationship in your request so I know it is within guidelines, and I'll take care of it right away.
As of March 12, 2013, I no longer do out of guidelines transfers for a multitude of reasons, the chief one being an increasing number of abusive, over the top reactions to the word "no". Memorials don't make themselves...in my case, almost all were done by me being "in the field". It's hard work, done out of my love of cemeteries and local history. I don't need to "own" the memorials for all my relatives, and you don't either. If you really want to make a memorial as complete as possible, please send me the info via the edit tab.
USE OF MY PHOTOS Please feel free to use my photos for your research! No need to ask. All I ask is that if it is going elsewhere on the web, just provide a photo credit along the lines of "Photo by Jen Snoots, Findagrave.com". Please use only within reason, do not help yourself to entire cemeteries full of my photos.
All grave and cemetery photos added by me on this site were taken by me, and if you see them elsewhere without my name attached to them, I consider them as having been used without permission.
The above pertains to MY PHOTOS ONLY, not to other contributors photos. Per site policy: "Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere would be a violation of copyright. You must obtain written permission from the member to use any photo for your own use. In general if you did not take the photo yourself, you do not hold the copyright to the photo."
LINKS WORTH CHECKING OUT -County Cemetery Maps -Family Search (Free alternative to Ancestry) -Nationwide Gravesite Locator, Dept. of Veterans Affairs -Rhode Island Historical Cemeteries Transcription Project -Vermont in the Civil War (I contribute there also) -Cemeteries I've Completed
Requests for memorial corrections, additions or transfers left below will be deleted without action. Use the edit tab. General questions or comments only below, please. Thanks!

 | Thank You! Thank you so much for taking the photos of Nathan West's grave. Nathan is a very close friend I went to school with and we stayed close after high school. I am delighted to see that a stone foundation is poured. | | | grnmax14

 | "Guiding Light" Jen, would you happen to have the contact information for "Guiding Light"? I'm trying to trace the Savage family here at Monocacy Cemetery and hit a roadblock. If you have their email address, can you please send it to me? THANKS! Glenn Wallace monocacycemetery@gmail.com | | | grnmax14
 | MoNNETT in Ohio hi Jen .. I have tried on a couple occasions to get the original submitter to change the spelling of the surname MONNETT but he has not responded. So I decided to add the correct spelling & site for future research.. ?? .. I live in the area, work at the library, have access to all the records as well as walk that cemetery regularly [also have 1 MONNETT relative] .. ?? I will try to contact him again .. or maybe if you try to contact him as well. He has several incorrect postings here with the Monnetts. I would rather not take mine down since I have the correct spelling. ?? His identity is Brian S. Billett (#46824902). He also does not communicate very well with the photo requests that he has made .. sorry to be negative on this beautiful Friday AM :(Added by grnmax14 on May 17, 2013 6:34 AM | | | Kathy M

 | CIVIL WAR VET Hi Jen You can add my great grandfather to your list if you like. His name is Charles W.Whitford.He is buried in Maple Root cemetery in Coventry R.I. I created a memorial for him and you can use the photo I posted their. George | | | Theresa Caparco
 | RE: Granville, NY duplicates I did search for the cemeteries in question very thoroughly- you renamed the cemeteries in question and offered no 'other' alternate name in their listing. This is why there are now duplicates. This was not my fault. Please try to follow the rules so that everyone will be able to locate the cemetery to which they search. I appreciate the grand work you have done in the Vermont/NY area. Theresa. | | | Nathan Haines
 | Bartlett's in Oregon Hi, I did your pic requests for Norbert Bartlett and his wife here in Oregon. Sorry it took me so long. :-] Nathan | | | John G. O
 | Louella Mary Frances Barwin Cook(e) Jen Snoots, have change burial location to "unknown" and the information I have is all that was known even from a Binghamton, NT newspaper obituary as Louella Barwin Cook(e), daughter of Joseph E. Barwin & Grace Mary Jones Barwin, born in Rolfe, Ridgway TWP, Elk County, PA, married Frank A. Cook(e) in 1915, was a nurse graduated from Bridgeport Hospital, sister of Florence Barwin Foster (1895-1938), and Madeleine Agnes Barwin O'Connell (1898-1971) in September 1919. No other relatives had any information! I keep checking any source that looks promising from newspaper archives, but that's it! Not even sure a grave marker was even ordered and placed! John G.
