The information I have provided you in the
cemeteries I have listed may or not be correct. I have tried to be as accurated as possible, but alas, I am only human. I have personally walked the cemeteries and wrote down the information on the headstones. Sometimes the stones are very worn, some are almost unreadable. I would be happy to add any family history that you have on a person I have listed. And I will correct any mistakes that I have made if you provide me with the correction. Be aware that it may take me awhile before I can get to adding the information. Also, please know that because I may not answer your requests immediatly doesn't mean I am ignoring you. I don't live on my computer day and night. I will be happy to transfer any graves to you, just send me their and your numbers.. of March 22, 2013 I adopted some memorials from the Springwater, Livingston Co. NY area. Other than what is in the obituaries, I have no other info on these memorials. I would be happy to add any info you have on them, or transfer them to you if you ask.

SEPT. 8, 2014 After my computer died and I got a new one...Had to trade with my husband for his windows 7. I am now trying to get all my data downloaded onto it. I am trying to get caught up on your requests, so bare with me.
My previous email has quit working. Please try to reach me at

Harris @ Mapleview in Cohocton
Hello Robin,
Hope your computer is doing better, I need some help.
I found 2 small markers that have the name, R. E. Harris on them. One of them has 'Mother' on the top & the other has 'Father' on the top. There are no dates, both have 'POST #240' beneath the name & there is nothing else on them. Can you help?

Thank you SO much for the transfer of Julia and Lincoln Franklin's memorials. Our family appreciates it as well as you putting up the memorial in the first place.
Best to you.

RE: Binnie Seward
Okay, I heard back from the cemetery here: "Binnie" is in fact buried here. I am not doubting that you saw a stone that referenced her name, and if so, it was probably some sort of cenotaph. The memorial here in Inglewood, since it is the correct location and has photos, should not be deleted. However, neither should the one you have back East, if it contains a cenotaph. Two memorials are allowed on this site when one is the location of a cenotaph.

I hope you can get a photograph of what you saw. I will put in a photo request so I can track the progress of getting one.

Let me know if you find out anything on your end.

Best regards,

RE: Ketch's
Thank you. I consolidated your info and images into my memorial since a number of other contributors had linked to it.

RE: Bertha Spayde
The easiest way to do this is the following:

Take all the info you have on your memorial for Bertha and send me edits or an email - either way. Once you have sent me the edits, I will add them to my memorial. When I get that updated, I will let you know, then you can delete your memorial - and I will transfer my memorial to you - since my memorial has tons of links to other family members on it. I am not related and am more than happy to give her to you... lets combine all your info onto mine and then switcharoo. Ok?

Sorry to hear about your loss and the computer... a double whammy.

Robin -

I'm sorry to learn about your health condition and hope you will feel better.

Is it OK for me to edit the FGM and add the information in my previous message?

FGM 16694866
Robin -

Thank you for your efforts.

Would it be possible to obtain a photograph of J. O'Day's headstone in the Old Catholic Cemetery, Cohocton, NY? I have information on this person:

James O'Day/O'Dea (1868-1890), son of Patrick John O'Dea and Catherine Maloney.

1870 US Federal Census: Avoca, Steuben Co, NY
1875 NY State Census: Cohocton, Steuben Co, NY
1880 US Federal Census: Cohocton, Steuben Co, NY
1890 Death Notice: Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, Steuben Co News

At the time of his death in 1890, James lived in Dansville, NY and was employed by The Jackson Sanitorium, a resort and spa. Also at the time, his parents lived in Bloods, NY.

Thank you,
