Jason Thomas
Cheryl, I am sorry it took longer than I expected but the Thomas records are so darn much and many. Was your Jason of Welch descent? What dates and places?

I did find Jason Sr and a Jason Jr. but from New York state but find no connection with the Penn. Thomas nor the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Thomas.I have Thomas work that I am doing for a couple distant cousins stemming from Evan's son Richard and Joshua.

Evan's children are not all listed as he did have three wives and even the first family's children are not all listed so I can't say for sure that there was no Jason or Judson.. Joshua yes but no Jason is listed. If you send me the info that you have then I'll relook again since I'll be working on the Thomas family. I must state that at that time in history a large number of Welch Thomas' were comming over to work the mines and work in the steel mills but my branch were more farmers etc. They settled mostly in Northanpton and Bucks counties in PA..

RE: William Fee #136712833

Actually there is not a period after each letter. It read 12 N.J. Inf., which would mean he was from N.J. and served in the infantry. Hope that helps.

RE: Archibald Chapman.
Hello Cheryl...So Sorry that I haven't got back to you...My daughter passed away and I haven't been able to do much of anything...But Chapmans Mills is located on RT 218 on Williams Creek. It is hard to find because the cemetery does not have a sign at the end of the road that it is on.....My husband and I need to make a sign to put at the foot of the hill where it is at so whoever is looking would be able to find it. My brother just passed away and we buried him Monday in AL so I have been really busy...thanks for your time..Janith Thomas Conner

Thanks, Cheryl. I really wanted to take Jim's down because I felt why should you have to know your husbands picture was out there on the web for others to use. I know I wouldn't want to see my husband out there. I'm sorry I didn't take it down when you first ask me.

RE: photos of graves
Why don't you tell me who your relatives are and I will be sure to steer clear of them? I thought that was what Find A Grave volunteers were for..........

Omar Amasa O'Dell
Thanks for the information, Omar is my husband's great uncle; his brother, Oscar is my husband's grandfather. There is an O'Dell reunion the last Sunday in June of each year in Gallipolis, it use to be held at Raccoon Park and is now held at a cousin's home.
