My work on Find A Grave is one of my 'random acts of kindness'. I don't do it for credit or to have more pictures or records than others. I only care about our ancestors getting the proper recognition they deserve! I do it so others can find their family or friends and to honor those who've passed.|
In some cases I have gone to great lengths to add info such as Census data, middle names, putting together parents with their children, spending valuable TIME and effort into my research, etc. Please do the same and recognize them!
Feel free to post on Ancestry as we help one another connect with lost loved ones

|Jenny E.||Margaretta Welsch photo request|
Just wanted you to know that I found this marker at Spring Grove last week. The area needed a little "landscaping" work and I didn't have the right tools with me that day. Our weather here in Cincinnati has been rainy this week but I WILL get back to Section 73 this weekend to do some "gardening" and get a decent pic for you.

She already had a memorial so I posted the photo I took this morning.
I had hoped the stone was for her husband. I dug it up yesterday and let the rain wash the mud off. When it was wet you could read the "wife of" very clearly.

I believe the photo you posted is of the stone for his daughter-in-law. If you'll look just below the uppermost crack you can see the word "wife". She died on the 30th of the month, which is readable towards the bottom of the inscription.

Thank you so much for the transfer of Mrs. Clark! I really appreciate it. Pat/Frances
|Carrie Stowe||Picture of Horace F Marsh|
Thank you for the picture you added of Horace F Marsh who was my Great-Great Grandfather. I've recently started tracing my family history. Just curious where the picture came from. Is there other resources out there to find pictures like that?
Thank you! Carrie (Seifer) Stowe
Thank you for the recent Schilke record transfer.

Thanks for all the transfers! I promise to take good care of them and I'm very happy to have them!
|Kathie King Wilkinson||Hummel Emil #38784363|
Hello, you took a photo of the tombstone of Friedrich Hummel (#9997971) and his wife Wilhelmine (#9997972), and their memorials have been transferred to me as a distant relative. The tombstone also includes the name of Emil, their son. Another individual created a memorial for Emil (#38784363) at another cemetery. Could you please upload your photo to Emil's memorial?
Kathie King Wilkinson, great grand-niece to Friedrich & Wilhelmine Hummel
|Gay Hermann||Ballor, Mary E and Anthony|
Mary E (Lawless) Ballor died in 1938 in Clinton Michigan. But, the county is Macomb, not Lenawee. Since there are two Clinton townships in Michigan, it can be confusing. Mary Lawless was born in Macomb Co. She lived on the farm in Macomb Co all her life. She is d/o James Lawless and Barbara Kader. My grandfather was George James Ballor, who was the son of Anthony and Mary.
