I currently live in Ashland, Virginia ("The Center of the Universe"),just North of Richmond. I got into Genealogy back in 1994 or so, and spent the next 8-9 years researching my family (Mostly in Chesterfield County, Virginia - and its surrounding counties). Have always found 'walking around' in cemeteries peaceful and informative, so I've begun to bring my camera along and add records to Find-A-Grave. Like everyone else, I may very well key in entries wrong from time to time (as in, Trouble reading the marker), so IF you see a mistake - or have more info on the deceased (Like full/missing Maiden Names, bios, etc), please use the "suggest a correction" feature on a memorial if you have additional info or corrections about anyone I have listed (Please Don't Leave Info In The Virtual Flowers).
If you're a close family member & would like one of the memorials I've made transferred to you within the FAG guidelines (with the exception of my family members), please let me know by using the "Suggest A Correction" feature from the memorial. Due to some unusual requests, please let me know your relationship to the person you are requesting a transfer. A Generic "Transfer this Memorial to me" will be not be honored. Also, If you request a transfer, Please Include your Findagrave ID#.

I am Charles W. Parker's great-great niece. From my research, I could only find that his middle name was "Whitfield." If "Whiteny" is his middle name, would you mind sharing your source? He was born in Halifax County, VA; he and a brother Kit Winbush Parker married Lunenburg County sisters, Garnet & Rubie Douglass. Kit & Rubie are buried in Victoria, VA. His sister Rosa Bell Parker Crank Childress was my great-grandmother.
