"May the Smile of Bast be upon us in Life, and may the Hands of Anpu be upon us in Death, as the Light of Ra shines upon us Always. So Mote It Be! " -Shandril oc Arran, High Priestess
I love the peace and quiet of cemeteries, walking among the tombstones and really making myself think about the folks lying beneath my feet. What were they like? Who loved them? Who are they now?
I also enjoy genealogy and being a Find-A-Grave contributor has served a two-fold purpose for me. Not only and I able to make online memorials for my loved ones, but I've also been able to provide photos of the final resting places of others' loved ones. This reciprocation of energy with like-minded folk at F-A-G is very gratifying; no matter our separate walks of life, our diverse backgrounds, we all come together in common purpose to make sure the Dead are remembered.
My family names include: Ashworth, Byerly, Calvert, Cathey, Chamberlain, Coleman, Driskell, Dudley, Hull, McClanahan, Moxley, Kirkpatrick, Lyons, Palmer, Purdy, Schneller and Walters
Blessings and much thanks to fellow contributors that have been able to photograph the graves of my family members! | |

 | RE: Rozella Amsbury Thank you Lynn I appreciate your thoughtfulness. Rozella will be remembered in the way she should be. I did not realize I did not give my ID. I will have to figure out how to do that. Her husband is Oliver Amsbury. Arrowrock Cemetery, Saline County Missouri. We have her portrait and his, hanging in our home. And many of their belongings. | RE: Violet Willis Semple Hi Lynn, thanks for updating Violet's page. I am not related, just a volunteer at Grand View where some of her relatives are buried. Glad to have her linked to them now, thank you! :) | | | Les
 | RE: Carters in Pomona Cemetery Hi,
thanks for the updates. They are related but not close at all, so don't transfer. Thanks for putting them on. It is awfully hard to find my particular Carters from the big herd.
Thanks again,

 | RE: Frances/Minnie Romick Dear Lynn,
Thankyou for your reply.
I've been doing quite abit of research on my maternal great grandparents, George W(Memorial# 23548178) and Frances J Romick(Memorial# 23548180); both of which you manage.
I have much to add in their names, to include multiple references regarding them, their parents and offspring.
In order to save you the effort, and to expedite the update of their memorials; I'm hoping you would consider transfering management to me.
It is my intent to be diligent, accurate and responsible with such an endeavor; involving Ms Martin to oversee my work, since she has your approval.
Once again, I thank you again for allowing me to manage the Minnie Louise Romick memorial.
Sincerely, Randy . | | | | [View all messages...] |
