To keep weeds out of the beautiful Find A Grave garden....

First, I don't link to Burial Unknown Site Memorials as BU shouldn't be on FAG according to the guidelines of the website. Do not request relationship edits to a BU as it will be refused. The first criteria for making a memorial on FAG is having the burial site, as this is a grave registration site. When you made a BU, you have a chance of losing the memorial to the member who "Find A Grave" in the cemetery.

Second, I may or may not transfer outside of the guidelines to an established member. It is my choice. Long-time hard working-members, who are busy in surveying cemeteries and taking grave photos impress me more than someone who is collecting others' memorials for their personal goal or waiting for someone to find the burial sites for their numerous memorials made with an "unknown burial site".

Lastly, there are no duplicated memorials on FAG. If I find a duplicated memorial while researching this site, there is 99% chance that it will be deleted or merged eventually.

You may disagree with the guidelines but remember the guy who started Find A Grave wrote them. He is the boss.

Many of the memorials transferred to me were done without my request for them. These memorials have found a home and will be nurtured.

Also, thank you for all the flowers and tokens left on my family's memorial. They are all sincerely appreciated by me and my family.

Remember to check on the Discussion Forums here. They are very newsy, helpful and interesting!

Thomas Lidahl
Thank You for the inquiry about Tom Lidahl. The 2 photo's on his memorial are all I have. There were several headstones in his vicinity/ or row that were very overgrown with grass. That is very unusual for this cemetery. It looked like to me that some of that particular rows was overlooked when the 'trimmer person' was in that area. Usually, Desert Lawn is extremely well mowed & trimmed around each marker. There were several in that row that were too covered up--I couldn't get photo's that were legible. So I did miss some. And, yes Olga's name plate was there, but totally unreadable and covered.

That was last Sep 2014, so it is likely (hopefully), that the situation is better by now. I'm getting ready for a knee replacement currently, and unable to go walk in the cemetery.

Please let me know if I can be of further help.

There is a photo of his marker posted by you, yet his memorial is not in that cemetery. Please give the name of the cemetery and I will see that the memorial is transferred.>>

Took a while but I found this one.

Zoar Cemetery

Iowa, USA

She is is buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland, Washington. I have deleted my listing as there are 3 or 4 other listings of her, mostly without burial location.

RE: Robert Fahrenkrug
Robert's grave marker is located next to his wife's at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. I am checking on the others you pointed out to me. Thanks,

-Mike

re: Robert "Bob" Fahrenkrug
Linda, can you supply a link to Robert's memorial? I upload lots of photos and cannot find this one by searching.
