I am currently working as a Research Biologist at the Univ of Alabama at Birmingham - UAB. I am a mother of 2 and grandmother of 2. My oldest child, my son Randall, was killed in 1986 by a drunk driver. He was only 17 years old. That is what prompted me to join FaG in the beginning. My first memorial was for him.
My daughter is a school teacher and the mother of 2 really great children. She thinks I'm daffy for taking time to shoot cemetery photos but then she is young. I think the genealogy bug will eventually bite her.
We all enjoy camping and hiking, sitting around the camp fire. I do enjoy fulfilling photo requests. My Grandchildren like to go with me now to walk through the cemeteries and helps to locate the correct markers.

Due to certain persons copying my Photographs and biographies of my family members without asking; I now require a request to use. Sorry to be so difficult. This ONLY APPLIES to my family members. All other photos you may use without asking.

Whenever I go to a new cemetery, I usually take pictures of all markers with the same surname I am looking for, people may not know that there are more family, more relatives in the same cemetery. and if this results in finding new names for the cemetery, I do my best to add this to the cemetery list..
NOTE: If I have added a memorial that belongs to your research; I will gladly transfer to you ~ Just ask!
