Bio Photo Hello!
Welcome, Willkommen, ˇBienvenido!

I am a historian/history buff, collector of military antiques, and just one of a few family archivists and preservationists of our mutual family history. My education, training, and experiences have led me to a career working in the film industry as a Military & Historical Consultant for Film & Media. I find that this site allows me to use my obsessive detail oriented organizational skills to share our fascinating and amazing family history with other family members, friends, and the entire world, in a VERY respectful and honorable manner. We are mainly German, Irish, and Spanish (Spain), with a few other nations mixed in. So, some of our family documents are in foreign languages.

The majority of the memorials I manage are direct line family members. As such, I will likely find it hard to consider a transfer, as I consider this my sacred duty to manage their perpetual cyberspace memory. Besides, I likely have other family members in line to take responsibility for it, once it becomes time to pass it on. Nonetheless, feel free to email me with an explanation for your request, provide your member number, and your relationship to the transfer. Rudeness, harsh demands, and/or failure to follow these simple instructions will result in you being ignored.

FYI: When I manage other memorials, they are likely family friends, personal heroes, historical, or simply a deserving soul.

It is my sincere belief that:

"A man never truly dies, until he is forgotten"

Thus, it is my quest (that through this website and other such documentation methods), that the aforementioned will never occur under my watch, and that a lasting legacy of an individuals time on earth, will NEVER be forgotten!

If you find errors on any of my submitted items, please be so kind and let me know so I can correct those. Please stop by and pay a visit to my little girl, Ashley.

THANK YOU!
Jay

She is NOT buried at Glen Abbey, unless it is under another name. At least one person with a tree on Ancestry thinks she died in Texas in 2008 rather than California in 1989. Are you sure this is not her? [FG # 72475626] http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=72475626&ref=acom Also, the info from the National Cemetery index http://gravelocator.cem.va.gov/index.html?cemetery=N892 Please do some more research and either get me another name to look for at Glen Abbey, or remove the cemetery from her memorial page.

Thank you.

Jay:
I read your bio and noted that you said you were related to all of the Find A Grave memorials....so that makes us related. His brother William is my great grandfather....Amos is their father and Catharine Murphy is their mother. Was wondering if you have a tree somewhere out there. Would love to communicate.
Thanks
Debe

Transferred. I copied over the photo. If you'd let me know when the Art's info is added to the marker, I'll update the photo.

I was wondering if Jacqueline Logan 1901-1983 and Jacqueline Medura Logan 1904-1983 isn't the same person who was married to William L Winston? Seems like they are. Also I visited your daughter Ashley's memorial and left flowers, she was truly a beautiful young lady. Sharon

Thank you so very much for adding a photo to Henry's memorial. We would never have been able to see it.

RE: CHARLES KELLOGG 135613159
Hi Jay
Wilamette National Cemetery
Would you please remove the head photo for Charles Kellogg from my memorial as it is a duplicate. There was one taken 5 months before yours, and it is taking up a duplicate space.
Thank you for honoring my request.

Irving Schechter
Hello Jay,

I stopped by Mount Ararat today to fulfill grave requests and I just uploaded the picture for Irving Schechter. I also photographed Selma's grave who is in the same plot. If you would like to create a memorial page for her I will upload her picture as well.

My husband and I looked for George at Francis Cemetery. We found his parents but not him. We'll double check again next time we're there.
