Hi Dianne,

Thanks so much for pointing out my typo, so sorry for the oversight. I've corrected the problem and added a headstone photo for you.

Happy Holidays!

Dianne,
I did a little research to see where I acquired the information on the infant. It was from the Macon County Stillbirth Records of Dec 1877 thru Oct 1902. It shows information from the Death record, such as the infant was a male with a gestation period of nine months and 7 days. The person sending in the information was Enoch W. Moore, MD., who was also the Attendant. The child was born and died in Decatur, IL. Cause of Death was unknown. Undertaker was P. Perl.

I do not know. You might call Greenwood cemetery and talk with Adam Henderson, he might be able to answer that question for you.

RE: Tennessee Cemetery - Montgomery Co IL
Wow, Dianne! Thank you so much for the directions. As is the case with many of the small family and community cemeteries in Montgomery County, sounds like Tennessee Cemetery is tucked away - glad to know it has remained safe all these years. I'm going to try and make it out to Montgomery County this year, and I will be sure to visit the cemetery. Thanks again! ~ Ann

Tennessee Cemetery - Montgomery Co IL
Hi, I see you have visited Tennessee Cemetery in Montgomery County, Illinois. I am researching the forgotten cemeteries of Montgomery County and I was hoping you would be able to tell me what the condition of the cemetery is and how many burials/grave markers there are at this cemetery. Any help is very much appreciated. Take Care, Ann

Sherman and Vivian McCuller Oaks
Hi Dianne,

They are my Aunt and Uncle on the McCuller side of the family. Aunt Bea, as she is most commonly known, is my mother's oldest sister. They are also the grandparents of one of my brother in laws. Which one of Uncle Sherman's siblings are you related?

Nice making contact with you.

I entered the graves but looks like Terry Hartley deserves the credit for the pictures. I have no idea where the cemetery is, I borrowed the book to enter the graves. You might email Terry and looks like he knows where it is. Kay
