Do you need a DNA test from a male descendant of Vandle Lantz buried in the Old Northrup cemetery in Sussex Co, NJ ? He is my 5th great grandfather there is Male Lantzs in our family. we live in North Arkansas....

I will go back to the cemetery when I have some time. (Probably not this weekend as it's my birthday and we have plans.) But, I know I did see some others near Lydia with the Lantz name. I will photograph all that I can find near her. The cemetery is much bigger than I originally thought but it's literally a 5 minute drive from my home. I'm between 2 cemeteries. North Hardyston and Immaculate Conception. I will also try to keep an eye open for any other Lantz or Lance that I see in my exploring of the cemetery.
So, give me a few weeks and I'll get photos of the ones near Lydia to you. :)

PS - You can always ask the memorial creator to transfer ownership of the memorial to you. I've been doing that with a lot of my own relatives.

I've uploaded a photo of Lydia's headstone. The date is definitely 1849 on the stone so I contacted the person who initially set up the Find A Grave memorial and asked her to correct it. Sorry that you request was out there for over 5 years but I just became a member recently. I live near here and when I have some time I will try to go back and see if I find her husband. I did see other Lantz markers there. Would you like photos of all of them to see if you can determine a family link? Let me know; it's not far from me - a 5 minute drive. Glad to help.

That was the best I could do. When I saw the request, I figured what you wanted. I tried a couple of other photos, but that was the best of them. The headstone is really worn down.
I just came back from there, but will go see if I can do better under different lighting conditions and I will see if I can do better.
