I am happy to change that, the obit I found said he was born in Jefferson :), and in 34 yrs of research I have found that newspapers, historical docs, cemetery info including markers, often have no idea hahha
I can also transfer his memorial to you if you would like, then you can add whatever bio info you'd like. You can always add photos without being the memorial holder, let me know

All of those floral tributes in Laurel Hill Cemetery fail to comply with the guidelines, Please delete the improper info and add any flower you would like. Find A Grave is just what the name implies, it is not a genealogy site, but, rather, a grave registration site. That is why the rules are different than you are use to.

It is outside of Find A Grave Guidelines to have genealogy data within the Floral Tribute. This is not my request, but, the guidelines you ar required to follow when using Find A Grave. Info below you can find in the Frequently Asked Questions under your Contributors Tools. If you want to send a correct date, name, etc. please use the edit button on the far upper right of the memorial. Thank you, Winnette
Virtual Flowers and Notes
How do I leave a flower/note for someone listed on Find A Grave?
First, go to the record to which you wish to add flowers and/or a note. There will be a box on the right hand side that says "Leave flowers and a note for this person". Just click on that box and follow the steps. (Note: you must be registered as a member and logged in to be able to leave flowers and notes.) We want Find A Grave to remain a place of respect and remembrance, just like a real cemetery.
Do not leave derogatory or politically charged notes. Inappropriate notes will be removed, and individuals who continue to leave derogatory or politically charged notes will have their account closed. Additionally, biographical information and obituaries should not be included in a virtual flower. Limit flowers to no more than one flower per memorial per day. [Top]

Will you please remove the floral tribute that contains genealogy data from this Memorial, Find A Grave Memorial# 25701922.
You may not be aware, but, Find A Grave frowns greatly on any floral tribute that is not a tribute to the deceased.
Thank you for your consideration in this.

I have been putting up grave photos and added one for Willie Root. Hope that is OK.

I have to remove flowers several times a week. Sometimes it takes a while and you can't remember if you pushed send, then again, it seems to duplicate just to make you mad.
So trust me, I know how to remove those things now. I just wish they would make them so you could edit your messages. Many times I have to delete and go back and correct typo's.
Have a good week-end.

If you click on the flower, it will take you to another page. It gives you the option to delete. Not hard at all
