Bio Photo I am a Canadian who spends a lot of time photography graves, I enjoy history and searching for treasures of the past. I believe strongly in spirits. Even the dead have something to share with the living. I am in Ontario if any one needs a photo of a grave or cemetery, Please feel free to ask, I will do my best to help....Peace!

I thought it looked like Terhum also. I have seen Vernon before but all the records I have seen over many years more or less agree on Varnum or some very similar spelling. I would dismiss this but you have to think that someone spelled his name on his own stone correctly. I thought I had him "locked up" but now it is a mystery again. I have looked everywhere I can think of for records...this is a real puzzle and I don't know where to go from here? I'd appreciate any suggestions or even wild guesses at this point!!!

Ah, just when I thought I had things figured out.

So...what is the name on the stone? Can you please spell it out? I am still not sure what it is from the photo.

Thanks so much for this photo. It is a direct ancestor.

I am not sure of the first name on the stone. Do you think it is Varnum or something else?

Thank you very much for making the effort of photographing the stone. You did a nice job and I've added photos of him and his wife to go with it. Your work is very much appreciated.

RE: Taylor/Brock
I was thinking that possible Fanny is near her daughter Martha Gunning, wife of Arthur. Her son Samuel is in Exeter.
