Sorry I'm late making changes to Lee Jordan's memorial. He and Mrs. Marie were friends with my grandparents and I remember them both.
|Maxine (Clinton) Pate||James Miller (memorial #12180635)|
According to our family records, my husband's great grandmother was Sarah Jane Miller, daughter of Samuel Miller, son of James Miller. However, we have little in the way of verifiable sources and have seen contradictory dates on sources like Find A Grave and Ancestry.com (for example, three different years of death for Sarah Jane). Do you have reliable sources regarding the descendants or the ancestry of James Miller that you could share, or to which you could direct me? Any tips or assistance you can give me will really be appreciated.
|Louise Rhodes||Aunt Louise & Uncle Babe Rhodes|
Hi Rusty and Cathy, My name is Louise Rhodes and I am married to Johnny Rhodes. Uncle Babe was my father-in-law's brother, John Herschel Rhodes, Sr. All of the brothers are buried in a row in Bethel Cemetery not Bethuel. The two cemeteries are not very far from each other. Bethuel is in Shelby Co. and Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. You can contact me at Rhodes@bigriver.net if you have any questions. How are you related to the Rhodeses?
|carol griffin||Martin Wilson Bost|
Rusty & Cathy Martin's sister Barbara Leah Bost married Phillip Wiley Dry. Phillip is part of my family tree. Thanks Carol

|Ray Anthony and Claire Escamilla||RE: Luther/Chism|
Hi Mr. Miller,
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply. Yes, I am a Chism and Ben Chism was my great grand uncle. His father Marion Wesley Chism was my great great GF. Do you know anything RE the death of Ben's mother Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Young?
Claire Chism Escamilla
|Karen Ellender Nickles||RE: Thomas B Babb|
I'm not really related to Thomas Babb, my connection is thru his son (Ray H. Babb) My aunt Melba Prevost married Ray Babb. Do you know any of this family? There are 2 daughters, Barbara and Louise.
|Joe W Tippit Sr||William Buford Bost|
I notice that you posted William Buford Bost.
My records show William listed with a sister, Ona B Bost (born about 1896 in Mississippi) in the Census of 1910, Beat 3, Pontotoc County, Mississippi.
The Census of 1920 lists William (age 20), but does not list Ona.
No further information on Ona. Have you?
Joe W. Tippit Sr.

Your request is completed.
Thank you for information that I did not have.
This is what Find-a-grave is all about.
|Mavis Clemmer||RE: Lousie Eliott Bryant|
Yes we are distantly related. Jock's parents were Calvin Luther Street, nicknamed "Cap" and he is buried in Bethel Cemetery in Benton Co. Calvin's grandfather was Balanger Street who was a brother to my great-great-grandfather, Anderson Street. I never did see Jock and Letcher but I did include them in my Book "Street's and Sidewalks" back in 1975.
