I have been fascinated with genealogy for most of my life. I've been working on it for about 30 years. I enjoy going cemetery hopping as my friends and I say, when we go looking for tombstones of family members. I have 4 children who are all grown, and my husband and I like to go for long rides. If we see a cemetery we just have to stop and check it out.|

Denise, Your welcome. I'm not related, just driving by. I found the dates on the headstone itself. Kinda small but readable. Linn

Your welcome. That's for helping me fix it.

I have changed it to Lenore. I entered those off of original handwritten notes of burials and sometimes it was hard to read the handwriting. I have corrected it now. Thanks for the help.
Sorry Denise death year should be 1872.

I recently visited Mr. Pursley's grave and I am certain he was born Oct 22, 1871. I also believe he died Nov of 1892. Thanks. Linn

Yes, the tombstone date of death for John Jordan is in error. I have only recently gotten the memorial transferred to me and have not added the bio which will clarify this. John Jordan's probate in IN shows a correct date, and I did put those in his "facts" section. Good to be vigilant! Thanks.
His first wife Elizabeth is also not buried there. I'll have info about that also.
|Susan W Bartholomew||Oh and Kenneth Davis too|
Thanks so much for his headstone picture too. Very nice! We've been near this cemetery before on our hiking trips but had no idea there were relatives buried there.
|Susan W Bartholomew||Phyllis Lenore Davis stone|
Thanks Denise for the great headstone photo! Sure appreciate your time and effort.
|Farrar and related families||Thank you for the very nice pic of Barbara Farrar Thomas' stone.|
Your help and cooperation are deeply appreciated by our family.
