Please write me--I am excited to hear from you!
Sally is my g-grandmother -- my grandfather was her youngest, Carl S Hereford. Who was your grandparent in this line? I want to talk to you about the family, but also about DNA!

This is a copy of an email:
I believe this grave (memorial 9921349) to be that of Catherine Susanna Willis Meers (1830 TN -1880 TX)
who was married to Jeremiah Fields Meers (1826 GA - 1874 Georgetown, Williamson Co, TX). So far I have been unable to locate Jeremiah's grave although he is reported to have died in Georgetown. They appear in Arkansas on the 1850 and 1860 Federal Census Records.
They then appear as entry #77 on Page 12 of the Georgetown, Williamson Co, TX 1870 Federal Census
They have all of the correct children however Jeremiah is listed as Joseph Meers on the 1870 TX census.
The Cemetery only had the initials: C S Meers

I have additional information for Elisha Meers, my great-grandfather. I would be happy to take responsibilty for the memorial or I can pass along the info. Dave.
