She was in the cemetery list. I have no further info, nor do I know whether or not there's a marker. You can enter a Photo Request--and you should be able to get a Death Certificate, too.

I did some research on this family just now, you descend from some fine military families. In particular the Phillippis. Mary Jones father, George, who was blind since the age of 42, remembers seeing George Washington at the age of 2 when Gen Washington visited Reading. Your George was named after the General/President. Gen Washington asked George's mother if her husband Abraham Phillippi was still living, he was, and Washington was escorted to see him. They served together at Valley Forge.
I have the full newspaper story if you care to see it and also George Phillippi's obituary. He is buried at Charles Evans and I have a photo of he and Mary's tombstone in his memorial.
Need an email to send.
Best regards,
Neil Scheidt

Hello,
Go to my memorial and click on "duplicate memorial" in the spousal link. That memorial was created after my own but has more details.

If he has a stone, it's not with the others. Next to Anna is Hampton A. and Mary E.

I suspect you don't know about a problem that Green-Wood iss having with the VA with regaard to military markers. In 2012, the VA started enforcing a regulation that limited those who could apply for a marker, on behalf of a long dead veteran lying in an unmarked grave, to a direct descendant. This probably has something to do with the persistent absence of a marker on the grave of william Scott.

yes, indeed I have at least one picture of Lester and Ida. I will have to scan it and add it to their Memorials. Do you have any pictures?

I wondered about Idas' maiden name and will have to verify that information.

I have the information if you just add the stone marker picture I will request so you get the credit on the picture. Thank you for deleting it keeps the family all together:)

Coolong ---->> Coulombe (original spelling)
