Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always loved history, in spite of that fact, I let my grandparents and parents pass away without finding out much about their lives and times.

As I look through old newspapers for family information, if I find an obituary, I type it out and post it.

If you are related and want a transfer just let me know. If I've made typo's sorry, ... let me know and I will correct.

If you object to anything I have done just let me know and I will delete.

happy hunting.

ps - please don't be offended, I delete messages.

Harriet (Crowl) Black
Thanks for catching the mistake on Harriet (Crowl) Black's death date. I had accidentally entered the death date for her daughter, also named Harriet. The maiden name is definitely Crowl though, not Crow. It is listed this way in my great-grandmother's Family Bible (she was Harriet's daughter), as well as the 1870 and 1880 Census records for Harriet's parents. On Harriet's death certificate, it is spelled Croll.

Etta Frink
Thank you for the Etta Frink obituary. I am not related to Etta. She was one of my Grandmother's friends. I had added Etta's memorial based on documents found among my Grandmother's papers. Let me know if you would like me to transfer Etta to you.

RE: Lydia Anthony
Thank you for the update on Arron's wife. Do you know where she was buried? The mention of 2 of her children in her obit are not the same names I have for Aaron's obit. Wonder if they came later or if I have the information wrong. Your thoughts?

Elizabeth Wells.
Thank you, also, for the Elizabeth Holley Wells obit. So that's why the Pottersville Hotel was called the Wells House ... makes sense! Alice

William T. Hollister
Thanks for that great obit for William T. Hollister. There are lots of mysteries in Forest Park Cemetery, but, now, this one is solved. Great work! :-) Alice
