I was at the Silver City Cemetery Monday and they had a team of people working with X ray to find unmarked graves. I could see a grave by the Farris baby ( the grass was a different color) anyhow when they run the machine over that area it definitely showed a grave there. I am sure it is the grave of Rufus, buried by his child. Just thought I would let you know. Nancy

I am bed ridden right now but I did find out a more prescise location of your loved ones in case you wish to add to your request. Sorry that I couldnt do more but at least this might help someone who does go. Rose Hill said the location is Old Mausaleum Section E, Row 5, Crypt # 3

Rose Hill , OKC
I would like to help you with you headstone requests for ROSE HILL cemetery here in OKLAHOMA CITY but the cemetery not very helpful nor do they have good maintenance or grave markers to tell you where your at. I went to ask them if someone was buried here and they said it would cost me 5$ for that info. that their services is for family only and they had to call in to get the info. when i asked for maps of the cemetery so i can find where things are they said tell the family to request the map for the info on which they are inquiring. There phone number is 405-843-5771 or fax number 405-843-5754.

I am assuming they were your GREAT Aunt & Uncle, unless you are over a 100 yrs old. I transferred them to you as I they are not related to me, they just some that I researched and took pictures of while in the Old Mausoleum. Happy Hunting.

I have added some updated information to the memorial Possible you called the cemetery yesterday when I phoned they said looked that up for you last night. He is not here. I said, you did not look up for me. Also told him I took the photo myself at the cemetery I knew it was there. The reason I entered it was taking the photo. I took photos of the first 4 blocks, they are the oldest part of the cemtery. Record keeping before, I think it was 1965 was horrendus for this cemetery. Many errors and I have photographed stones had trouble reading when home and wanted to enter them in the findagrave site and when I spoke to them they said no that person not there. Well I always told them where the stone could be found as I always knew that day which section I was in. They had a list they intended to work on, and maybe it was not all taken care of. Or this is just a new one that fell in the cracks. Anyway I have listed info found and linked him to what I believe his also...done this, or left the other one so there would not be any chance of someone else finding the record and re-enter him. It is better to have a cenotaph sometimes then to have a person inadvertently dupe a memorial. When you edit him and you may want to take out my explanations or just shorten version you may not want to edit out the link in the bio. That is the way one can be linked to the other. So while editing you may want to watch out for that. Then again you may not want the link. What you do with it is in the end your business when I have completed the transfer. Have a nice evening. Judy.
