| Bio and Links | I've been a member of Findagrave for several years, but only recently became a Findagrave volunteer. In addition to photographing the gravesites requested by other Findagrave members, I also occasionally photograph the gravesites of war veterans, infants and children, and very old or endangered tombstones.

Well I have to thank you anyway for all your trouble because I know some of them fit into my family in some way, and I've heard its near impossible to get through there with the bushes and grounds (and snakes)

I wanted to ask you, about Dawson Cemetery in Marshall Co, MS. Do you have family there ? I'm relation to PERKINS and OLIVER who are both listed being in there and I was wondering if the list you posted in Feb is all the stones you could find, or just certain ones you took pix of ?

BTW, my ancestors were Dr. David Pointer and Joel E. Wynne. Hope you let me know if you find anything on them. There's a rumor that Marcellus Pointer went to Brazil before he went to Mexico in 1865, but I can't prove it. | | | Tennessee Irish

I got my copy of Jeff Giambrone's Remembering Mississippi's Confederates, but I forgot to send him Howard's picture. He used one I sent him of Kinloch, one of Monroe Pointer, and of course, Marcellus. Your picture of Howard seems a lot better resolution that the one I have, so it may have been from an original, whereas mine was a CDV. | | | Tennessee Irish
