Vernon and Myrtle Schleh
Hello,

My husband and I are working on updating the information in the vast Forest Lawn Cemetery of Omaha, Nebraska.

Today I uploaded the photos of Vernon and Myrtle Schleh's headstones.

I also uploaded the newspaper obit for Myrtle. I couldn't find one for Vernon.

I thought you might be interested in knowing that Myrtle and Vernon were married in Omaha, Nebraska in December of 1917. Their marriage license# is 44023. Myrtle is listed as Swanson for the marriage instead of Swenson.

I hope this information is helpful to you.

RE: Bethia Wood Hudson in the Hudson Tomb Cemetery
Thank you...I have learned from the gentleman that posted the cemetery info that the John and Bethia Hudson are not the pair I am researching. Said the Otis family is well documented so your info is correct!

Bethia Wood Hudson in the Hudson Tomb Cemetery
Hello...I found your name from the Find A Grave page for the Hudson Tomb Cemetery and Bethia Wood Hudson. I am a descendant of John Hudson 1713-1799 thur his son Aaron Hudson 1750-1816 and am wondering if you have any knowledge of where Aaron and his first wife, Elizabeth McAllister are buried? Thank you....Lora

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.

RE: Edsons
Hi, So sorry - A relative gave me info Kezia daughter of 158. Cyrus, born probably about 1746, son of 77. Abel Edson on page 67. I have spent hours looking for them to connect, but can find no further record of Cyrus son of Abel - not who he married or his children... I have spent too much time on it and have to move on. Thank you so much for your help.

RE: Edsons
Hi, I looked at Edsons ... by Jarvis Bonesteel Edson online and your information checks perfectly with this. My Cyrus (if he is my ancestor) is not in this record. Carroll Edson's is not viewable the same way... I am checking some other online records. Thanks so much!

RE: Edsons
Thank you for your reply. I have studied Edsons and Deanes today. I can't figure out Cyrus's wife since many other families on ancestry.com show her to be Hannah Hudson born 1756, but I don't find his wife in my copies. I only copied what I thought I needed. Who would have thought I would be descended from the Edsons at least 3 ways.
I figured out that my Kezia (Edson) Frost born 1781 - wife of Samuel W. Frost - is the daughter of Cyrus Edson - born about 1746 and died July 3, 1839. (I am using page 67 of Carol Edson's book and luckily I copied that one page since Edsons in England and America and Genealogy of the Edsons by Jarvis Bonesteel Edson didn't have my Cyrus listed on page 460 for Abel's children.) Thanks

Edsons
Hello and Thank you for working on Edsons and handling Memorials on Findagrave.com. I am looking at 83476106 - Cyrus Edson. I am new to findagrave and descend from Deac. Samuel Edson two different ways that are clear. Kezia (Edson) Frost 86692713 is my 3rd descent from the Edsons. I think her ancestor might be your Cyrus Edson. I have copies of at least two different Edson Genealogies I am using, but just can't tie it together. Are you interested in collaborating? My # is 48331425. Thanks Billie.
