Elizabeth Decker # 15648919
Hi,

This is not the burial place of Elizabeth van Wagenen Decker, but of the second Elizabeth Decker.

Cornelius Decker # 51235325 was (confusingly) married to two Elizabeths. The first was Elizabeth van Wagenen (1739-1764), daughter of Symon van Wagenen and Sara DuBois. This Elizabeth and her parents were born and died in Ulster County, but I do not know of any burial information for any of them.

After his first wife died, Cornelius married his cousin Elizabeth Decker (1740-1813), the daughter of Gerrit Decker # 118288419 and Catrina Schut. Elizabeth (Decker) Decker is the person whose headstone appears here, rather than the first wife Elizabeth van Wagenen.

Thank you.

Antoine Crispell
Antoine is NOT buried in front of the French Church in Hurley. That is a MEMORIAL Stone.

He & wives are buried under the addition to the Dutch Church in Kingston, NY. Therre is a memorial stone in that churchyard, too.
