RE: Duncan Hi, Billy, All of our Duncans were in Indiana shortly after they came across from Scotland, according to what I have been able to find. Both Henry Duncan, Sr & his sons, Henry Duncan and Robert Duncan immigrated in 1832 through Philadelphia, settling breifly in Dauphin City, Penn and by 1835 had land registered in Fayette Cty in Indiana. I haven't been able to find anything further back in Scotland yet. You are welcome to look at the Arbol de la Vida tree on ancestry.com. Thanks, Ruth
McBride I saw where you entered Henry Frank McBride (# 11097246) to find a grave, saying he was buried in Prairie Grove Cem. in Talahina, Leflore Co., OK. I would like to know where that cem. is located and direction on how to find it, going from Talihina. Henry Frank McBride's daughter Elsie McBride was married to my mother's brother, Alvie Dean. I know she is buried in a little cemetery at Talihina, but not the same one where her husband was buried, so thinking maybe it would be where her father is buried. Would appreciate any help you can give me.
RE: Docia Della [Blackwell] [McBride] Courtright Crims Hi Billy: I was well acquainted with Docia's son, Wm. Golden Blackwell. He and his wife are the one's that gave me the info regarding Docia's marriages. Grave stones indicate that Docia and her first husband, Elbert are buried in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, Talihina, Ok. I linked your memorial on Henry McBride to Docia; Is there some question as to where Henry is buried? Both Wm. Golden and Madge Blackwell are gone [deceased], so I don't have any other source for info. The Blackwell's were my dad's relatives.
