I hope to add many of my ancestors' graves to this site. Most from the state of South Carolina. If you have bio info on any of the photos I have posted, I will be glad to add it or transfer if you like. Sorry, I don't do chalk on markers. I try my best to get pretty good photographs with help of a mirror or manipulating photo after I take it. I also do not enter information directly from my collection of cemetery books (most are copyrighted). Too many mistakes in the books. If I actually see the grave I am less likely to put the information in the wrong cemetery and also have a picture of the grave to confirm information. If you do, please consider sending a donation to the group that provided the information. At lot of hard work goes into documenting the cemeteries.
Please send all corrections and additions thru EDIT from the Memorial page.
I also help with the Aiken Barnwell Genealogical Society. Find us on FACEBOOK. | |

 | James Garvin #77888205-Willie Garvin #77888286-Maxie Garvin #77887957 Hi Hardy, Thank you so much for giving your time and effort to take the photos for my ancestors. I could never go to all of the locations to do this myself and I am so grateful for the wonderful people that are willing to give this gift of service. May I have your permission to use your photos in my genealogy, giving you credit for taking them? God bless you and yours, Margaret | | | Celestina Coleman
 | RE: Martin Bellinger Yes, Martin Bellinger is African American. Any light that you can shed on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
P.S., if there is any funeral records that the overseers of the cemetery might have in their possession would enhance my research greatly.
Thanks, Celestina Coleman | | | Celestina Coleman
 | Martin Bellinger According to the death certificate, the burial, removal, cremation section indicated Elko, South February 23, 1944.
The undertaker was Weathersbee - Green of Williston, South Carolina and Emma Williams was the informant.
Are there other cemeteries in Elko where Martin and his wife Mary Jane (Moses) Bellinger could be buried?
Thank you very much for your assistance.

 | Posey at Bethcar Thanks for your ongoing attempts to find William Wardlaw Posey. Didn't even see any stone for "Wardlaw" either I presume. If you know the section, plot, etc I'd love to at least put it on his memorial. thanks very much! | | | Janet
