" "Find A Grave is exactly that. A website to find grave information. When contributors use it to build out their family trees with no cemetery information, it dilutes the data at the site. We definitely do NOT want to be a database of just names/dates. There are countless other websites out there that do that. We want to keep our 'grave focus'. To that end, if a contributor submits an inordinate number of 'unknown' burials, their account will automatically get flagged and they will no longer be able to add this type of 'burial'." Jim Tipton
Requests for me to add links to memorials that are listed as burial unknown will be ignored.
Please add the memorial URL as the source for any of my memorial photos you use on Ancestry.com.
If I've entered one of your relatives, I'll be more than happy to transfer within the site's four generation guidelines. This means your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Please use the Suggest a Correction feature under the Edit tab on memorials to send corrections, additional information or transfer requests. Please state your relationship in the SAC for any transfer requests. Also include memorial numbers for links that you wish to be added. I will ignore any requests left on this page. Requests for "all the Smiths" or "I'm related to everyone in this cemetery" will be ignored and deleted without comment. We all have cemeteries like that, but those type of requests are against the site transfer guidelines and should be added to a Virtual Cemetery.

 | RE: Waldrop Ancestors Thank you Donna, I know that the folks that are assured of their ancestry haven't much interest beyond themselves, but it is imperative we help our own.It only takes one male to purchase a 67 marker test and that test might provide enough information to help many of our Waldrops who have lost their families in wars, adoption and who knows what tragic event.Perhaps the future has some of those opportunities.Instructions are at Familytreedna.com.They do have occasional discounts, but it must be 67 or more markers. Thank you again,Donna! Sincerely,Tom Woodward, who is really a Waldrop through dna. | | | TOM WOODWARD

 | Waldrop Ancestors Hi, Is your paternal family line from Luke and Christian Trevillan(sp)Waldrop? How about Daniel Washington Waldrop? Do you have your paternal dna markers somewhere that we could compare them with ours? The Waldrops at Familytreedna need Waldrop dna help in closing the gaps to finding their Waldrop famlies.Sincerely,Tom Woodward in SC | | | Patricia A Pollock

 | RE: John C. and Cynthia Black Rhodes Donna: I have on my schedule to recheck also when I go back to Cedar Shoals. The harder they are to find, the more determined I am to seek.
One relative that could not be located in the above was found (without marker) by visiting funderal homes where they may have been used for his burial. I have found some just kept log books and very little information, but sometimes just what I was looking for. I found one where the funderal home had drawn a diagram showing where he was buried in relationsip to his mother's marker who had died before. So, I added him to the memorials with a picture of here marker and explained where his grave is in relationship to that marker. | | | Kenneth Darby
 | Rhodes Family Donna: I think FindAgave should turn management over to you even though it is out of line especially since Tracker as I said is supposed to either died or does not manage actively. It took me several months to find this out and finally Find A Grave gave me help. Why don't you try it and see what happens. If you can get management, I may be able to help you with a lot of the links with the research I have done on the Rhodes. I think you should at least try.
Ken
PS: I have a lot of relatives that Tracker had and Find A Grave either updated them or gave me management.
Keep me informed. How far back do you have the Rhodes. Another cousin of your in Broken Arrow, OK has communicated on Ancestry as to how I am related. If you do not have her e-mail, I will pass it along. | | | Kenneth Darby
 | Cremation Memorials Thank you for the one you posted on your immediate family. I had not see another cremation posted, but you and I think alike on this. I have one to post for my brother-in-law and I wanted to do it similar to what you did. Yours gives me another way of doing it.
In my case, we have a marker down but his ashes were scattered in six different places as a request of some of his close friends and family.
Thank you. | | | Kenneth Darby
 | Rhodes Family Donna: Have you looked at the Rhodes Family at Cedar Shoals. I have been trying to link and update. I am related through marriage. Tony Leo Rhodes m. Sudie King (my cousin thru Darby). Do you have any further info beyond what we have now.
Also: If you are related, I was wondering why you have not requested management since Tracker is no longer alive (that is my understanding). I have been sending my requests to editfindagrave for assistance and they have been able to help. But I thought i would be nice for a family relation to manage them.
If you do not wish to do so, I will request a transfer.
Please express your thoughts and I thank you. I am 81 years old and am discouraging management to me but if I do I try then to transfer to someone much younger who will take care of this.
Thanks you, | | | Kenneth Darby
