Memorial Day - Find A Grave Memorial# 10611634|
TO POTENTIAL CONTRIBUTORS OF "ADDITIONAL INFO":
I appreciate additional info to memorials which I've created/maintain, but PLEASE LIMIT your info. This site is called FIND-A-GRAVE, not "Find The Genealogy History Of...".
I do not feel it at all appropriate to turn a memorial into an entire "genealogy work". Certainly it will be ONE, OF MANY valuable resources for genealogists in their research.
***I DO NOT POST OBITS, post 1922***
Please refer to Find A Grave's rules of use under FAQ, by clicking on "Help with Find A Grave" in the left-side menu.
I will not list a person who does not have a DOD inscribed on their stone, unless I have verified their death. Many people have pre-ordered their cemetery markers for the "inevitable", thus their name and DOB being posted online BEFORE THEY DIE, is a violation to their privacy.
I endeavor to compare NAMES and DATES, so that I don't create an entry for someone previously listed by another variation of their name, so please let me know if I have duplicated a memorial.
NOTE: 99% of the headstone photos I've added are best viewed when "clicked-on".

If you go to "145 million grave records" on the right is "honoring"
Every person on there has hundreds of flowers added as they are seen by many people.
I wanted to get my cousin on there as he was a Police officer killed in the line of duty.
I'll keep trying, thanks

Rhonda Poynter took it over to have her friends send memorials but she can no longer be contacted.
I wanted to know about having it sent back and getting it on the "honored roll" section.

Hello, I saw your public honoring of Officer Burton Lopez and wondered how to get a memorial on the site. Specifically I want to Honor my Cousin Police Officer George Brentar.

Thanks Liz. I had searched for guidelines and found what you sent me recently. I've removed the photo.
Thanks very much for the transfer of my Aunt and Uncle--the Nick and Doreen Millers. I appreciate your work and the photo of the headstone.
|Susan Barwick||RE: Mary Gillis|
Liz, thank you so very very much for the transfer. Yes, I will make sure her page is cared for. Thank you again.
|Dorcas Garrett||RE: John H. Thompson|
You are very welcome. My brother and I are both retired and we do this in our spare time.
|C. Granberry||RE: T. L. Noble|
My source for Mr. Noble's name is the death record of his son John Otway (Ottoway) Noble Alabama Deaths, 1908-1974.
His father's name is listed as Lincoln T. L. Noble
|Camillia||RE: William Hughes|
Found him listed here: http://www.oocities.org/yes_album/CoB.html
and here: http://www.twparker.com/USGenWeb/CharlotteCoFlorida/SFP/SFPissue14/19Issue14pg17.pdf
I thought it was interesting. I was trying to find info on the other CSA soldiers buried there also, just for my own curiosity...

I would very much appreciate your permission for me to use your photo of each of the following grave markers in my not-for-profit book on my family genealogy:
John C. Williams, Jenkins Cemetery, Lee County
Lonnie Williams, Jenkins Cemetery, Lee County
Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.
