I enjoy reading, horseback riding, doing Civil War living histories, memorials and re-enactments and visiting old graveyards. I also have a passion for all things pertaining to Confederate Major General J.E.B. Stuart and his wife, Flora.|

My great-great uncle gen. James macgill was married to jab stuart's niece. She died at the family estate "Claremont" near pulaski va inthe 1870's. I used to visit Claremont when I was a youngster and it was always a big deal about the jeb stuart kinship. Interesting to note that great great uncle james' second wife was the daughter of general ap hill, one of lee's Corp commanders. Lucy lee hill macgill was her name and she was also the goddaughter of re lee.

With Memorial Day this weekend, I remembered something you told me in March and just wanted to touch bases with you to see if you had been to Hollywood Cemetery recently. Honors to our military!
Again, thanks for your fine work on preserving our history.

Thank you so much Crystal, you are the best. I made pages and just posted a request for photo on Hubert & Annie so you can easily put the photos on their pages. Stay in touch, I think we are next looking at Rock Fish for some new discoveries in our Boones. Again thank you for your fine dedicated work at Devotional Gardens this week.
