Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy research since 1995, became a Find A Grave member in 2003. Most of my work is done online I have over 1000 pages of relatives' work (some dating back to 1895). I appreciate the work of others who share.

The recent addition of suggested links on the FAG edit tab is something I really like. While I do make mistakes, most of the documentation for my suggested links to spouses and parents can be found on my public trees, or by emailing me. I am happy to share.

My FAG goal is provide accurate information, not to increase the numbers of graves associated with my account. If you would like me to transfer anyone to you, please ask and give me a reason.

For me, Find A Grave is a great genealogy research tool. I especially appreciate the descriptions of people's lives and pictures.

Chris can you re-arrange the photos on this memorial so that Ella Brewer Harvey's portrait photo shows first? A copy of the marriage certificate was added and now the certificate is what displays first from iPhones and some iPads.

Chris I thank you so much for your correction...on Elizabeth's birth and death dates. Verified and changed. Have a beautiful day. :)

Hi Chris, With the help of other researchers an obit for her has been found. I created a memorial based on the location info in the obit. I will continue to follow thru to find a grave location and hopefully a existing marker. I'm on good terms with the sexton and with his help we have found many locations of graves in this time frame. Please edit or add links. I will transfer to you anytime. I do have a image of the obit if you would like it.
Respectfully, Dale Maron

Check and see what you think of the current rendition.

RE: Ooops a can of worms
I think you've got it. He was the 3rd Thomas Andrews, not the 3rd son--and the stone has nothing to say about birth order. I can make a note of the meaning under the transcription. And yes, I missed the Junior that was staring me in the face bigger than blazes. It makes perfect sense. Now I think the transcription finally reads correctly.

I don't know about the Hingham records, but this stone does say 3d. It is a 3 and a superscript d if you look closely at the photo, blown up.

It raises a question about the date on the stone. Perhaps it is not 1758? Is there a death record? Stone carvers have been known to mess up, too, which seems likely here--it might have been the 1st son and the stone carver wrote 3d, or he may have inscribed the death date for the first son over the grave of the third.

But even more likely is that the 1893 author messed up. Histories of that vintage are chock full of mistakes.

I think it is good that you are looking at all of these with a critical eye. I have been known to goof up too. On this one, though, the birth order and date inconsistencies are inexplicable, and the transcription of those is faithful to the stone.

I did catch where I missed the "Mrs." on the stone, though, so I corrected it, and I think it goes on to say 3 M....

You will have to contact the person who uploaded the images and have him delete them and upload them to the other memorial. I do not own the images and I cannot delete or move them.

RE: Limestock - thanks!
My mother's people are buried in Limestone. We went up to find and photo the graves. Got as many as we could in the rain!

Peter Corrow and family

I've added your submission in the bio section and requested a photo of the grave stone. All the records I'm able to find show Corrow as the surname, not Corron. Hopefully, we'll get a photo soon that clears up the mystery!

Thanks for being in touch.

I can't do much. Merging might be a good thing . What you do is click on delete , select duplicate record for the pull down menu , put in the other memorial I'd and I. The notes portion ask for a merge. It is the best I can offer.
