I grew up near the Village of Mudsoc, Walnut Twp. in Gallia Co., Ohio. My family attended the Bethesda Methodist Church and my family roots are in that same area. |
I've had the pleasure of knowing most of my immediate family, including my great-grandparents and I am glad to be able to honor them on Find A Grave.
While I am not related to all the people I have listed, I have known many of their families.
I will be glad to hear from you by e-mail but please put Find A Grave message in the subject line.
Many of us have climbed around snakey, brushy cemeteries at personal risk to obtain these pictures.
Recently I am seeing many of my cemetery photography on the Ancestry.com website. Remember, when you use other people's pictures, it is only honest to give them credit for their work.

I'm just now getting to the Myers side. It just bothers me that there are some many that you placed on here in 2008 and somebody has put a duplicate memorial on after you.
|Angela Hively||William Henry Myers|
Thank you Irene for the edits on W. H. Myers and William Henry Myers.
You might want to add this for location. I found it in an old listing. It may be confusing but better than no location at all. :)

I was wondering how you are related to the rose family?
|George Paul Farris||Walter Neal, Jr.|
On a search for a Neal, I happened upon your work for Walter Neal, Jr. (Find A Grave Memorial# 10922807).
At present I can ascertain no connection between Walter and the Nathan Neal for whom I was searching. However, I was very impressed with the quality of your research and your presentation of Walter's memorial page.
Thank you very much for your contributions to the preservation and recording of the micro-history you so ably present to the community at large.
Regards & thanks,

I have taken the biggest percentage of the stones at Flag Springs. My mother is buried there. If you want to go through the list and make some changes, please do. You have done an excellent job adding the graves to Find A Grave. There are a few stones on which I can't make out the names and a few more I didn't find. Next time I'm out I will have definite ones to look for. I love doing this. Thanks.

Roy is listed twice.
|Fran Wheeler||James Reese|
I found this stone for James Reese in Flag Springs Cemetery. Dates are 1914-1987 if you want to change them.
