Hi Steve,

I was looking at Lissie Jane Lewis Calhoun on Find A Grave. You have a sister listed as Cora. It should be Mary Elzora (My great grandmother). She is also buried at Fork Mountain.

Barnabus Cahoom
From all that I have found on other from other people's trees, and census records I believe James Cahoon m Catherine Vanzant (VanZandt). Catherine's father would be Barnabus Vanzant. I have a photo of Barnabus' tombstone in my Rita French Family tree.
Just thought you would like to know...

Hi Steve, John P Calhoun and Lula Mae Woods are my maternal grandparents. I see you are the creator of their memorials and you also have Barney Calhoun's memorial. I was trying to make a link or determine if that Barney Calhoun is actually my great Grandfather as some of the names are a little similiar but not exact. If so, we are probably related.

RE: John Hazelwood (1834-1910)
There was a John Hazelwood that enlisted in the Confederate Army in Stokes County, NC on 20 March 1862. He served throughout the war in Company G of the 53rd NC Infantry. I believe this could very well be him. I could not find anyone named John Hazelwood in the Stokes County, NC census for the year 1860. There is one in Patrick Co., VA however that matches the age of this one. The enlistment record also matches the age of this one. There were several men from Patrick that enlisted in Stokes. Do you have any info as to whether or not this man was a Confederate Veteran???

Thanks So Much!

Your memorial 30550208 for Carrie Roberson is a duplicate of memorial 775651 which was entered several years prior to yours. Please delete your entry as per Find A Grave policy to eliminate confusion here. Thanks so much.
