|We started researching our family tree which lead us to you by the way of Scott Highbargin which in a distant way is related to us. He was the one that got us interested in Find a Grave! Since then we are doing our best in getting the information needed to list out family grave sites on this site. This is a wonderful way for people to find out where there ancesters are and be able to sometime visit there grave site. Ron & Cindy Dunfee|

All my life I have wondered what happened to you. We are first cousins! My mother Dorothy and your father ("Uncle Bernie") were brother and sister.
We have so much to talk about. Contact me by my e0-mail.
SO GLAD you wrote!
Hi, Cindy! Do you remember a visit to your grandma and grandpa's house in Independence, Oregon? I think I met you first then, and we were both about 5 years old. My mom has a cute photo of us standing together in the backyard. My mom , Lois, was your mom's half-sister, same mother. Suzette in Oregon

Sam was married twice. I am a Rhodes via my mother and Sam's second wife, Lucinda Rhodes, was my great grand aunt, so Sam is my uncle. His son by his first marriage, Andrew Jackson Elliott, married a cousin of mine, Eva Rhodes. I picked up the picture off the web via ancestry.com and then posted it to FaGr. I do not have any photos other than what I have downloaded from the web for Lucinda or Sam.

FYI: You've requested a headstone photo of Marion Benjamin Elliott in Pinellas County, Florida, but you haven't entered any cemetery. It says "Still doing research."
Per the Florida Death Index, Marion's death date is 11-22-1973, Pinellas Co. May I suggest you send for a copy ($5.00) of his death certificate, it will give location of his burial. This site will instruct.. http://vitalrec.com/fl.html#state

Yes, that is correct. I was told at the Grant cemeteries headquarter that a man from Calif. did buy that land and he has dismissed them from caring for it in the future. The address is on Findagrave for Sego Cemetery. My daughter lived close to the office and I went there to see if there were two Sego Cemeteries, but they said all the little cemeteries in Grand Co. were listed at that address. I hope you can get your questions answered. He was very kind to me printing out the list that I entered on a page. There were a lot graves with just rocks around them, and some headstones that were not readable. Good luck.

Did research on Ancestory.com
Jack Robert Elliott, 19 Dec, 1923, 28 Dec 2005,
parents Marion benjamin Elliott and Florence Adams. Spouse: Delores Aurdia Bourg.
Douglas Pioneer Cemetery. Troutdale, Oregon.
Troutdale is a city just E of Portland, some 200
miles from Roseburg, Douglas Co. Oregon. It looks like he passed on in the Portland area, and was not a resident here in this area.
Troutdale is in Multnomah County, Oregon. You will need to correct the cemetery location on your find a grave entry for Mr. Elliott.
