Joseph Tibbals stone

Just wanted to THANK YOU for the work you've done for Find a Grave. Your photos are excellent and I also appreciate the inscriptions you have added!

I live in Nebraska. Joseph Tibbals buried in the Old Durham Cemetery in CT is my 6th great grandfather. In the 1970's my grandmother had visited the Old Durham Cemetery and left me a photo of Joseph's stone. But she did not write out the inscription and it was impossible to read the photo.

I recently discovered the Find a Grave site and was so excited to learn of Joseph's memorial page.

Appreciate so much the time you have spent taking photos and also transcribing what is written on the stones.

Hi Susan!
I can't believe I've gone back this far and found my great great great great great great grandmother! That's SIX times great grandmother! Thanks to you or I never would have.

I have some info for you if you would kindly add to #22476999. Her maiden name is Tryon, she was born 24 Feb 1716 in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut, USA to Abell Tryon and Abiah Hunnewell.
Thank you so very much and if you'd like to transfer management to me I would take excellent care of her.

I am SO thrilled to see the condition of the gravemarker.

Heth Camp
Thank you for taking the time to find the grave and then take the photograph. This is very timely because the headstone is no longer readable and someday it may be totally gone. You have helped to preserve the memory of Heth Camp. On behalf of the Camp families, thank you.

Stephen Miller and Anna Goodrich Miller Gravestone Photos

May I have your permission to copy and post the photos of these two gravestones to my tree at If so, would you like credit for the photos and how would you like it to read?

I have been transcribing and researching the names and dates from two (several) books about descendants of Thomas Miller and found your posts tonight.

Thank you for your consideration,
Lucy (Miller) Butko
