JUST WANTED TO SAY KUDOS ON BEING A BUSTER FAN. I REALLY BECAME A FAN WHEN AS A CHILD I SAW HIM ON CANDID CAMERA AND OVER THE YEARS WATCHED HIS GENIUS IN SILENT FILMS. NO ONE COULD DO A STUNT BETTER THEN BUSTER. TAKE CARE/BLESSINGS

I want to thank you sooooo much for taking the photos of Leon & Ola Phillips...and so quickly after I made the photo requests. What a wonderful "findagrave friend" you are!!. Thanks for taking the time. Kathy
|Frank Russo||Al Lyons|
I would like to use your grave picture for Al Lyons for my baseball website, thedeadballera.com. Please let me know. I will give you full credit for the photo.
I happened upon this site by accident. I was touched by your note and photo. I am happy to know there are others who think of my dad fondly, and that he is not forgotten. Thank you.

My family and I lived in Claremont from 1966 to 1986. I graduated from CHS in 1972 and Cal Poly, Pomona, in 1976. Uh, needless to say, my 20th reunion, which I did not attend, was in 1992. I went to the class' 10th reunion but I was largely unimpressed. We lived at 718 Scripps Drive. Scripps runs east/west along Cahuilla Park, which is just above the parking lot at CHS. We were about five houses down from Scripps and Mountain. Condit School was behind our backyard. We used to let our dog out the backyard gate for runs in the school yard. The grand ol' times. What a small world!

Wow! That must have been a ball going into Keaton's old house. If you told me the home is worth 15 million dollars, I'd certainly believe you. It must have been so much fun to live in Beverly Hills in the 30s-50s. Thank you for your offer to canvass the cemeteries in your local area. I lived in Gardena during the 50s-60s and Claremont during the 60s-80s. Take care.
